The Weight of Reality: Prologue
🕑 Added 2024-08-11 15:00:07 +0000 UTCBret ran his hand through his tousled brown hair. The pressure was getting to him. Makeup covered the bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. Fresh fat bulged outward from nearly every inch of his body. His underwear was tearing open and so was his sanity. He thought that doing a reality show would be fun and sexy, but now two months in he was beginning to lose it. He took a deep breath, tried to ignore the fact his shorts were about to tear open from the weight gain, and centered himself. He had gotten this far, there was no stopping now.
When Bret arrived at the villa he was one of a dozen tanned muscle studs alongside a dozen hot girls. There was so much nubile flesh in the building, sunkissed and soaked in hormones, that sometimes it was hard to think about anything other than sex. That was the point of the show after all. Cram a bunch of sexy twenty somethings together in a house, make them do challenges, plow them with alcohol, and eliminate the ones who aren’t sucking and fucking. It worked too, at first anyway.
All of the girls Bret fucked had gotten voted off, and for the last several weeks he hadn’t gotten any pussy at all. In fact, none of the guys were. Only five guys and three girls remained and although they knew they had to hook up to keep their place on the show it wasn’t happening for some reason. Bret wasn’t sure why, but he knew he had to do whatever it would take to get to the end. After all, the winner was awarded $100,000 which would be life changing for Bret.
He headed to the bathroom, the only refuge from the cameras. Nevertheless, he was still mic’d. He unbuttoned his shorts and breathed a sigh of relief as his belly bounced forward. His six pack was now buried and his love handles were back with a vengeance. He always struggled with side fat. It was the first place he gained weight, but now even his pecs were beginning to get fluffy. He took a shit and then headed to the kitchen for a snack.
Munching on some chips, he could hear someone talking outside. The window above the sink was open and he peeked out. It was one of the producers. Bret stopped chewing so he could hear what was being said.
“The network is surprised but pleased.”
“Why surprised?”
“Well, no one is fucking but we’re still getting our highest ratings ever. The discourse around boy’s weight gain is reaching fever pitch.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, it’s a polarizing turn of events apparently. On one side, people are criticizing their bodies and then the other side we have the body positive activists speaking up, and all the while viewership with gay guys is basically through the fucking roof. I guess they like that shit or something. Whatever it is, the internet is on fire and it’s working in our favor.”
Bret looked down at his belly, taut with fresh fat and plumper than ever. His greasy hand was still in the bag of chips. He shoved down a handful and then shook the remaining crumbs loose into his mouth. He grabbed a brownie from the kitchen counter, then another, and a beer from the fridge.
“Give the people what they want,” he mumbled to himself.
