iOS Build Feedback

We've not had any feedback on the iOS builds as yet. It makes sense the majority of you will be playing on other platforms if you're a patron of ours, but all the same, some feedback would be helpful before we launch the iOS release publicly so if anyone has taken it for a spin, we'd love to hear how it went.

I can see why! I had to spend nearly $1500NZD just to get the equipment and account privileges to export iOS builds at all! It's been slim eating this month, but I'm hoping it'll be a worthwhile investment. The silver lining here is that Sileo needed only a single line of code changed to work on iOS - literally! Ignoring the Apple-specific hassle of producing an iOS build, Ren'Py and Sileo took very well to iOS. As for the existing code, as Apple so loves to say, 'it just works.'

okay so, after having a bit of an issue with altserver, that i have resolved, everything went smoothly and the game runs well on my ipad 8th gen. thanks for going through all this apple bs to deliver us an ios build, the only vn creator i know of that does that.

Good to hear you got there in the end!
There were a few hickups with AltStore (server not found, despite just having installed via that), but otherwise, it went fine, and the game launches properly.
