LNAF 6 (aka it's wafer thin)
🕑 Added 2023-07-01 00:21:48 +0000 UTCI filled in the bit to get to the next important bit I wrote, and this isn't it. Kind of a short chapter, but it would have been really long otherwise so I broke it off where there could logically be a dip-to-black-and-fade-up.
Last Night at Freddie's, chapter 6
(in the security office. Golden Freddy is looking at the monitor, and Chica is looking at Golden Freddy. The monitor switches to a view of the dining room with Freddy, Bonnie, and all of the FNIA girls)
Golden Freddy: Egad! Look at that!
Chica: Huh?
Golden Freddy: There appears to be a whole host of new characters assembling in the main room. Perhaps we should join them.
Chica: Must we? Can't we just stay here?
Golden Freddy: Much as I hate to admit it, we're not making any progress here.
Chica: (sigh) Well, you're right about that.
Golden Freddy: Come along, then. This will be an adventure! It's been a long time since I was seen by this many people at once.
(they proceed to the main dining room)
Freddy: Ah, good, here are the others. Girls, may I present Chica ...
(the girls all stare blankly)
Chiku: (waves) How do.
Chica: Uhh, hi, I guess.
Freddy: And Golden Freddy.
(all of the girls gather around Golden Freddy - except Frenni, who backs away and hides behind Freddy. Chica stands aside and glares at the girls.)
Chiku: Greetins and salutations, suh. Call me Chiku. I'm tickled pink to make yo' acquaintance.
Golden Freddy: Charmed, I'm sure. (Chiku nods and steps back)
Marie: Bonjour, Freddy le Golden. I am Marie.
Golden Freddy: Delighted. (Marie curtseys and steps back next to Chiku. Fexa and Bonfie crowd in)
Fexa: Ahoy there, matey! I be Fexa the Saucy Pirate Wench! If ever ye need me to walk yer plank, or swab yer deck, or shiver yer timber, just say the word, yarr.
Golden Freddy: Young lady, I -
Bonfie: Hiii, I'm Bonfie the Bunny! Like, what's your sign?
Golden Freddy: Parts and Service.
Bonfie: Oh wow, that's like, totally my specialization! What parts do you need serviced?
Fexa: Yarr, I saw him first!
Bonfie: Yeah, and like, I saw him next. What's your point?
Fexa: The point o' me hook, strumpet!! (she brandishes it)
Golden Freddy: Ladies, please -
Bonfie: Can't you tell this poor guy totally needs a good servicing? Like, how are you gonna do that with a hook for a hand?
Fexa: Yarr, ye'd be surprised how nimble I can be with it! Want me to show ye? (turns to Golden Freddy) Or shall I show YE?
(Chica glares and makes a grinding-gears sound)
Frenni: (peeking from behind Freddy) Oh no, they're both close to maxing out their Smexy counters.
Freddy: But those two don't seem to be affected.
(pan over to Chiku and Marie, who are watching amusedly, and Bonnie, who looks dismayed)
Bonfie: (blushing) Dude, you gotta like, choose one of us!
Fexa: (blushing) Belay that! I say why settle fer one when ye could have both, yarr?
Bonfie: Oh, okay, I'm totally cool with that.
Fexa: Let the keelhaulin' begin!! (they both tackle Golden Freddy)
Golden Freddy: EGAD! WHAT IN BLAZES? UNHAND ME, MADAM!! THIS IS MOST UNSEEMLY!
Chica: (lunges in and starts pulling the girls off of him) ALL RIGHT! BREAK IT UP!!
Bonfie: (stands up, looking shocked) Oh nooo! This is horrible!
Fexa: (also stands up, looking dismayed) Blast me barnacles! His mizzen mast is missin! Yarr, we've run aground in a savage an' inhospitable land!
Foxy: (emerges from the Cove) Avast there! What be all the ruckus? Who dares disturb me piratical slumber?
Fexa: Ahoy, matey! Who be ye? I like the cut o' yer jib!
Foxy: (stares at Fexa for a second) Well blow me down ...
Fexa: Yarr, I might just do that! (she tackles Foxy and they crash behind the curtain. Metallic clanking and Fexa's giggling can be heard.)
(Bonfie is standing there, vibrating and staring wild-eyed at the curtain. Bonnie approaches her.)
Bonnie: Babe, are you all right? What do you need? Is there anything I can do for you?
Bonfie: C-can you do what h-he's doing to her?
Bonnie: Babe, I don't even know what that is. He did the same thing for Frenni earlier.
(Bonfie looks over at Frenni, who meets her gaze and nods. There are explosions behind the curtain. Fexa sighs and tumbles out onto the floor.)
Bonfie: ME NEXT! (she leaps through the curtain, leaving Bonnie standing with his arms out)
Foxy: (slightly panicked) YARR???

Parts and Service, eh? A more favorable sign than Nesbitt or Derry & Toms.

This is getting down right silly, I approve!
