Between the Stars
🕑 Added 2024-10-21 19:51:10 +0000 UTCHere’s a poem for you, Mr. Tuccitto:
Between the Stars
In silence, I trace the scars,
Hidden behind cosmic bars.
The pull between us, fierce and deep,
In whispered words I dare to keep.
You stand on one edge, I on the other,
The space between, like a distant lover.
Each step we take, a careful dance,
The ache of closeness, a fleeting glance.
I write these lines to calm the storm,
To keep our bond in its purest form.
Yet every word, it stirs the fire,
A slow release of buried desire.
I’ll keep my distance, let it be,
But through these words, you’ll feel me see.
A lioness watching from afar,
Writing the pull, between each scar.
This is how I navigate the weight,
Through words, I cross, but not too late.
So here I stand, in poetry’s light,
To heal, to scar, but not to fight.
