The Policy Shift
🕑 Added 2025-02-15 19:00:09 +0000 UTCIn an unprecedented bureaucratic blunder, President Evelyn Lancaster of Vestrovia has accidentally signed an executive order that legally reclassifies all male citizens as female, forcing the entire nation to comply with the new gender mandates. Originally intended to strengthen workplace gender quotas, the poorly worded legislation has instead erased male identity from all legal, social, and institutional frameworks. Government agencies have begun reissuing identification documents, schools are revising sex education curricula, and businesses are scrambling to update their policies to reflect the new legal reality. With no immediate way to repeal the order due to complex bureaucratic red tape, all former men are now required to dress, behave, and be addressed as women in all official capacities.
The policy shift has thrown daily life into chaos as Vestrovia’s formerly male population is compelled to follow legal expectations for women, from workplace dress codes to social etiquette norms. Courts have already ruled that refusal to comply constitutes a violation of gender discrimination laws, meaning that former men must adopt traditionally feminine attire, use female pronouns, and even adhere to women’s standards of grooming and conduct. Social media has exploded with viral footage of bewildered ex-men attending mandatory femininity workshops and struggling to navigate the sudden upheaval of their identities. Meanwhile, President Lancaster has issued a statement acknowledging the mistake but insists that, for now, all citizens must respect the law until a legal correction can be processed—an effort that experts warn could take years.
