Sept 25 - Far Away
🕑 Added 2024-09-26 19:28:03 +0000 UTCThis week's song combines progressive house anthem vibes in the drop with a breakbeat groove in the intro. It has a bit of a unique spin and I like some of the layers in it, but I'm not sure the overall idea came together well. The main melody is decent, but not strong or memorable enough and the song feels forgettable. For those reasons, I'm not sure I'll return to this one.
What do you think? Is this idea memorable enough after the first listen? Is the breakbeat groove something you'd like to hear more of? And do you think this idea is worth finishing? - Let me know in the comments.
Download is attached and WIP Archive has been updated.
Have a great rest of your week and I'll see you tomorrow on stream!

Def wouldn't mind seeing this breakbeat in a different context or track. Could be neat.
