June 19 - Hope for a Future
🕑 Added 2024-06-20 14:00:10 +0000 UTCThis week I returned to a familiar style and channelled some strong emotions. It starts out a bit somber, but has a lot of uplifting vibes to it. This song centers around the theme of hope...
It's been awhile since I've written something like this. It feels a bit old or maybe dated? - but I like how it turned out. It's not the best thing I've written recently, but it does have a good emotion and tone to it and evokes a signature AN style for sure. I can see myself returning to this one, but I'm not sure about a release.
What do you think? Do you like the nostalgic AN songs? Does this feel too dated or old to you? And would like you to see my finish this one? - Let me know in the comments!
Download attached and the WIP Archive has been updated.
Thank you for your support here on Patreon. Have a great rest of your week and I'll see you Friday on stream!

Remembering where we came from is always a good thing to revisit. Revisiting it every so often isn't a bad thing. It also shows how far things have come since the good 'ol days. I can see this one being finished.

The first thing that comes to mind is "liminal" That got me thinking of telling a story of sorts that encapsulates your development and transitions through different eras of music. A foundation of this, reminiscing on the classic AN vibes, and transitioning to more of a symphony that would harken back to Cinematic Soundscapes, and climaxing at some cutting edge genre symbolizing your future development. It would give you an opportunity to write a longer piece (a-la-deadmau5) that tells a story. Idk, random patron idea you can take with a nice handful of salt, but I think it would be cool. :)
