Status Update

While working through my backlog (still) I received a notification from the site that, as I'm a creator of adult content, I'm required to provide my id and verify that I am myself in order to continue using the site. I'd totally forgotten they were planning on doing this, so I was caught kinda off guard.
Regardless, I'm not gonna comply.
In the end, I have no interest in jumping through hoops to violate my own privacy in general, and I certainly am not gonna do it to help Patreons valuation for a buyoff or whatever, nor to satisfy the prurient attitudes of a bunch of shitty Credit Card company execs. So now I need to figure out what to do next.
I do not plan to stop drawing, but I'll need to figure out a different place to do that from; there are a couple of alternatives to Patreon that I know of, but I haven't made any decisions as yet. While I still have a bunch of other work to finish, I will probably make an announcement fairly soon as to what I've decided on.

If you do find another platform you wanna go with, or if you're just gonna exist through like Discord or something I don't mind swapping platforms. Patreon's just been convenient, but if it's not a option then ill swap. ..Seems kind of backwards that they want you to verify your age to make adult content, but not anyone's age to pay to see adult content.

can you talk to any other patreon creators out there, see if they found a way around this? also what's the time frame?
