Hey friends! How are you all doing during this "back to school" week? 😎
For my part I am doing well and focused on work💪 I am bringing great news today regarding content uploads🥳
BETTER MAPS
I just updated my Better Maps mod! It is a compatibility update since the last patch broke the references and the maps wouldn't show up! There are no new maps to this update but the ones already created have been fixed and will show up again!
Make sure to remove the older .package files from your Mods folder so they don't conflict if you are updating from an older version.
I don't know for sure if I'll keep creating new maps since it became very hard to create! Camera positions, lighting, and lot positions need to be calculated individually through an algorithm I created last year, and it involves a lot of math, and takes a huge amount of time, so I was focused on my bigger mod packs that you know! If I come up with new maps I will sure let you know of course. In the meantime you can enjoy the ones already created again yay!

Awesome! Is there maybe a way to download single maps for every town in game? I'm using the 'Breece of Greece' mod by Nando and would like to keep his map just for Granite Falls.

Arnie didn't make all the worlds have new maps, in their post it say that the maps are hard to make bc of the math required to make them. I think there was only a few worlds that have the map overlay, like Willow Creek, Newcrest, Forgotten Hollow and Del Sol (there might be more I'm missing but I cant remember them all).

Hi! :) Some worlds still have the default map even with the better maps mod. Do I have to download another package file? I have all worlds except the one from cottage living. Thank you! :)

Please keep updating the maps, they are the most beautiful I've ever seen for the game! I would LOVE so much to have them for every world, the game looks so bare and forgotten in the ones you have yet to do. TYSM for the hard work, I know it's not easy & I appreciate it so so much!!!
