Working MILFs - Part 2 Beth and an Update

Here’s another pinup from my working milfs series. I wanted to post it with an update on how everything is going with the patch. I’m currently still drawing CG’s and animating mainly Beth’s and Tricia’s routes. Beth’s event turned out a bit longer than I expected and it’s going to be two routes in one.
I’m also switching out all the images I have stored in the game with jpegs, which should lower the game’s size by 30-50%. This will make the game bypass some of the issues the mac users are having with the 4gb extraction limit they have and also make it a lot faster to download for all other users. There’s a bit of hit on the quality of the images since it’s a different format, but it’s nothing big. This is a very lengthy process since I have to do this on all the scenes from the previous patches too. But I’m prioritizing working on the update and slowly changing the format of the images one at a time.
It’s too early to give a specific release date but as of right now I’m aiming for end of February. Take the date with a grain of salt since there is still a lot of work to be done.

I dunno about 4 or 5 patches with out Beth.. Bi monthly that 8 to 10 months. I could say maybe skip a patch, but Beth is a fan fav and I'd pull support if it was that long. I'd like to see jacqueline though too, killer rack. Even if it's a one off, Def excited to see how Tricia is going to progress, and love how summer is really getting into morty now, can't wait to see more of that.

she got most of the votes with serious number of voters man, what are you talking about? that is not generalising, thats the fact. and also he also gives us other characters' paths in every patch.

he does make other characters' path also alongside with beth. if overwhelming majority loves and wants Beth of course he should pritorize Beth, but as i said he is not only focusing on Beth but he also gave us Tricia, Jessica, Summer, Wild Summer, Planetina etc paths on previous months.

You know there are like another 100 or so people paying too. some of us are bored of beth in every patch and want something different. (Though the gangbang garbage with the hobos in the kitty patch was god awful and the russian lady in the planetina patch was wasted) If beth is prioritised over anything else for every patch some of us me included are likely to pull support. I like beth but every patch just is boring same old same old. Retiring her to the back bench for 4 or 5 patches and have staple characters like jessica and tricia and hell introduce jaqueline would be nice. maybe even bring back the russian milf.

Dude they are one person doing the drawing, coding, bug tracking and optimising, they are litterally doing the job of a small studio, cut them some slack. if youre that burned by the wait. down grade your monthly pledge to the dollar option. but know that hurts the creators ability to create.

I second this. Jpegs, even though he says it won't be a big difference, is a big drop in quality. And I say this as a graphic design student.

Not cool man you should have wrapped up even one pathway and pushed it out to us. Two months no update when one was promised later in the week in 2021 feels like your milking the monthly subs. To hear we won’t expect one until march now sucks.

If you are manually converting images to JPEG format, you might consider using a script to convert them in one go using a tool like imagemagick. If the code references filenames with extension, you could then find/replace all the current extension to JPEG. I can also write a full post on this method if you need help. Also, great job!

Maybe outsourcing the conversion to JPEGs to an independent worker may be a viable option? Allowing them to focus on the conversions whilst you carry on with the additions and versions we are all familiar with? Not to sound malicious! Just some feedback for a possibility to take some of the load off of your shoulders. Otherwise, fantastic work as usual!
