You can choose to stop subscribing if he's not providing what you want. It's that simple, vote with your wallet. I personally have unsubbed and resubbed a couple times. I simply don't agree with the amount of pressure and expectation that's being laid on this man, I have no idea what's going on in his life or in his head.

"Patreon allows creators to monetize their content by creating a paywall and charging patrons a subscription fee to access their work." is patreon business model. And we haven't had an update on work or new work in over a month, last I checked its a monthly sub fee. Unsubbed as of today.

Edit because accidentally sent early: Don't know how long you've been here, but there was a time when massive patches came out every month or other month, WHILE he was constantly involved in the community explaining issues or giving updates. He literally just doesn't care anymore. You pay to access content on Patreon. He is no longer shipping content or updates on it. This is a justifiable thing to be upset about or not spend money on.

To everyone complaining about paying, you are not paying for a product, Patreon is a donation site. You can always unsubscribe, the resubscribe when new content drops if the 5 to 10 bucks a month is really that big of a deal to you. As for those of us who are frustrated about his lack of communication, although it frustrates the hell out of me, I also realize that you don't rush art. This is art. It's both writing, and hand drawn animation. It takes a crew of like 20 people two weeks to animate a single 20 minute episode of family guy. This is one guy animating and writing and creating as fast as he can without producing crap. Look at other games that are free in this genre. Other than maybe harem hotel I can't think of one that is as high of quality as this one. Back off. Be supportive. Unsubscribe if you must but don't act like you are owed shit for donating money. The nuns don't owe you a prayer and the red cross doesn't owe you a bandaid, how is this any different?

Bunch of people complaining about paying money and not getting content. Ugh, cmon people, this is patreon, not amazon. You are donating to support an artist, not buying a product I personally know that life throws things, unexpected, random, crazy. No, not everyone needs an update. While nice, again, this is a support site, not a store. I am going to keep supporting. I know that recovering from surgery can be lengthy, including the physical therapy. Trying to mix a job like this, with what i'm sure is another outside job, as from the sound of it with all the people bailing for having to wait a little. Yes. A little. All that eats up more of the artist time, making updates take longer Life is not instant, get out of the shitty mobile mindset BTW this is not the opinion of the artist I choose to continue to support, but one of my own.

A part of me wonders if he genuinely just doesn't give a shit about patron satisfaction or if it's something else like social anxiety that makes it extremely difficult to not only do shit like weekly/bi-monthly updates but also to respond to all the criticism and frustration with the current state of project progress/lack of communication with the community. The whole 'Soon™' updates every 2 or 3 months is extremely frustrating. Idec about getting a date, just a hey it's coming/not coming on schedule is enough. Disappearing for long stretches of time just to come back and say 'my family randomly stayed over/surprise surgery so no update anytime soon' just gives me an off feeling when there is SO much other time we spent wondering what was going on. You don't have to be drawing tits in front of your parents or even have two functioning hands to put a paragraph explaining what's up on your community wall.

He just needs to update more, plain and simple, "soon" and then month long black outs is not good practice. I'm giving him till Feb then dropping my sub, I'll check back in every 3rd month or so if need be. I shouldn't pay a monthly fee for fake expectations. And to angmon, your wrong, me paying for a service requires good service. That's the reason I pay. I don't pay for false goal dates and radio silence. I can simply just come back at my leasure and pay minimal and leave again. I want to help this guy because his product WAS good, but lack of updates, broken mind blowers and unfinished cgis really make hard for me to offer monthly support.

elo, we dont mind waiting on a good new release, we do mind that you givus dates and when that date arrives you dont let us know anything. either give us a updated game or dont, please stop making promises if you don't know if you can keep them. better to not anounce a new update when you dont know if it'll be ready by then.

God forbid a creator has a life of their own, and wants to do their own thing without letting all the gripers know every little thing. Without knowing their personality, we can only guess. What if they really don't like to put up posts because plans tend to change on them, or they want to keep their creative freedom more open, or they start to have more socials going on unbidden in their lives. Point is, everyone needs to chill. Yes it would be nice if we got more news/updates, but is not required anywhere. This is a donation site for support, not for buying and demanding. Giving money through patreon does not guarantee service nor product

I honestly don't care about how long an update takes as long as the creator is on top of keeping everyone updated and not setting unrealistic expectations/goals. This update was supposed to be in December, then "soon" on January 1st. Its now the 21st of January with no update on when this "soon" may be. I personally feel like sending out a quick update at least once every week or two weeks of "hey, project is going to plan, update should be out at beginning/middle/end of X month" would be reasonable to ask for. I'm not asking for step by step breakdown of everything that's happening with development of the game, but just a quick insight to if an update is actually coming up soon or not.
