Hey guys, as most of you know night mirror fixed alot of the bugs and closed off this game storywise a few weeks ago. If ferdafs comes back I'm sure he'll update his ren'py. I did find ANOTHER R&M game on F95 that's real good by ORMUZ. Is has 2 almost full seasons now. Nowhere did ferdafs sell you a 'subscription' Perhaps read carefully, then quote after reading what 'Membership' means. Then see what that means in the context of this situation. I left my paragraphs separate for a reason, like communication being different for everyone, actually read stated above. Fanbases are built on being a fan of someone, enjoying their work, appreciating them as they are. There is literally no interaction needed for a fanbase to function, though many 'fans' would argue otherwise. TLDR, then you are in the wrong place. Text is here for a reason

Tiers has nothing to do with communication. When they say they will give updates to us that means we will get updates. When they say they will keep doing updates that means we will get updates. Interacting with the the fan base is key this allows us to know what's to come so if they go dark we can criticize. The tier price is funding through their work this means anyone who is paying a subscription to them is required to know if the Dev is continuing or not for us to cancel. subscription /səb-skrĭp′shən/ noun A purchase made by signed order, as for a periodical for a specified period of time or for a series of performances. An agreement to receive or be given access to electronic texts or services, especially over the Internet. Acceptance, as of articles of faith, demonstrated by the signing of one's name. If you have follow them on Newgrounds which they have started there then continue to other websites they have then you will know what has been said. to read all of their post since the start they have promise us ongoing updates and lettings us known of things. They have admitted they have anxiety when talking to us however it is on them to provide information on going projects which we're paying for. Personal life can hinder the progress that doesn't mean its okay for them to disappear for months to a year without saying a word when we're paying real money. They have responsibilities to uphold like any other company or person who is making a game. Fanbase is built on trust, communication, and good faith. When a person has a long track history of staying silent this sends red flags to the fanbase. If they don't respond within reasonable time this can hurt the fanbase. tldr: Creators or Dev have huge responsibility to uphold when creating a game to their fanbase. It is expected of them to give updates which is a role of a Dev. Going dark for long periods of time without letting fanbase know of anything will hurt the income for the game. Not only that it raise red flags about paying them. When they keep letting the fanbase know they will keep or promise to continue communication this falls on them.

Just because you are used to other creators giving monthly updates doesn't mean all of them should. If you look to the tiers you can pay for, none of them mention giving regular news updates, nor any other thing ferdafs has failed to deliver on. So no, news every month is not a bare minimum. Communication is different for all of us, and on top of that, real life hits us differently at different times and can be a confusing juggle. On top of that, if they are working totally alone, they have to handle all aspects of the game itself, and social media, every site it's released on, who knows what else. Honestly, I could go on about creative freedom, processes, possible accidents/setbacks. But honestly I'm just assuming. I can only go by the vibe they give off from how they do communicate, and fairly it's true, its not much. tldr They do an amazing job, and they didn't break any promises

This shit literally writes itself, it can be hard to animate everything but cmon don’t just go silent. Give us an update or something. Space Beth, more Tricia and Jessica, Unity, so much shit can be explored. No excuse to go 5-6 months to update. Might even take longer smh💀💀. Allow me to clarify, what I mean by that is when you got a simple game like this, With limited development required. the steps taken are not that VAST yes he has to code it yes he has to figure out the story, and "animate" But the fact is ITS NOT THAT HARD. And all we ask for is community update of where the status is. The reason he does not do this is because many of us would want to cancel subscriptions and then come back once he has gotten closer to the finished product. So he does not release a community update of where the status is on the current development. And instead leaves us in the dark WITH HOPE EVENTUALLY he comes back.

I need help! i have downloaded the game on Mac, it is giving me the the application cant be opened error. I went on google and searched up what to do, I did the 'chmod +x' command in the terminal and the 'RickAndMorty' thing in the 'MacOs' file in the apps contents shows a terminal app symbol so i think i did it right but im still getting the error. Ive restarted my mac, did a system update, made it so my mac can open apps downloaded from anywhere and it still isnt working. I used betterzip to unzip the file and ive tried it like 3 times im so lost i just wanna play my game dawg can someone help me

The v4_0 update is nicely animated and the portions of it which work cleanly are good. Unfortunately, it does some odd things in terms of returning the user to Morty's home on Earth after finishing a path on the Vindicators station without opting to return home. Other pre-v4_0 problems with hangs and the like appear to still seem to exist unfixed.

it was the worst update ever put out. Two incredibly underwhelming scenes with characters no one cares about. Ferdafs communication is awful. People would be much more understanding of the releases if he gave any sort of progress updates at all. Some thing like "Hey this week I've been working on adding this new area and its taking a long time/tougher than expected. The new release might be shorter than originally expected/delayed." That's it. A sentence or two. But instead he just goes ghost mode and ignores the community that pays him every month.

Welcome back! This was well worth the wait, keep it up! OK yeah it was shorter, but this is from a play tester perspective, this is a robust update from 3.9 i am very impressed. 1.The animation is better then ever, i mean this is an incredible uptick in quality amazing work. The work on Supernova alone is phenomenal. 2. The establishment of a new hub zone has tons of new possibilities that i am looking forward to seeing. Overall keep at your own pace and dont rush, we're always going to be here for the next update.
