Build more drop ships with what? The stars??? Moon dust??? Parts of the ship they're already on so it falls apart? Come on guys. At the end of the day when they sent the Ark into space they budgeted for 200 extra people. Yet over 100+ years the population gained 1,500 extra people, even WITH birth laws and spacing people for the smallest infraction. Ironically, the only way for them to have kept the population under 700 over a century is if people like Kane were in control of the Ark the entire time.

I like that they’re showing more complexity to Kane. He was strictly following the law because he truly believed the Earth was toast and people on the Ark were dying. Abby was the only one on the council who had hope and even that was only because she needed to believe Clarke was still alive. If Clarke hadn’t been part of the 100 I doubt she would’ve been so desperate to prove that the earth was surviveable
