Also, I am very excited for youse to watch the second one, as well as the third when it comes out. As well as one thing I had to laugh at myself about… in the beginning, you said that you had not seen it since you were young, and I thought to myself “you couldn’t have been that young when this came out because I saw it when it came out!”. I didn’t even realize that 2009 was 16 years ago! And it really made me notice how old I am. 😂🤣

I am a bit late and just seeing this reaction, but I just saw where you were a bit confused about the “jarhead clan” and thought he was already lying. He was simply trying to explain himself in ways that he thought that they might understand… he told them at first that he was a marine, and noticed that they didn’t quite understand or know what a marine is. And a common military nickname for marines is “jarhead” so when he tried to come up with something they would understand, he ended up with “a warrior of the jarhead clan”

I’m with you there. Personally, can’t stand these movies. This first one is literally Dances with Wolves but in space. And despite Cameron’s successes, he still cannot write or even pay someone to write a decent script.

I have a love/hate for this movie. I love the visuals, absolutely stunning. That whole world and all the creatures were beautiful. I hate it cuz the storyline is basically a cross between Pocahontas and Dances With Wolves. And it takes place off planet. Plus James Cameron is known for not having great dialog, just one liners.
