Have you had issues with that low travelers bench warping? I want to build it but concerned about warping since I live in florida

Henrik Ubbe

Yea, it is almost strange how funny it is…

LiraNuna

Time flies!

Otakar Schön

I loved this one as I feel it is relevant to me. Woodturning is something I try to resist. I am terrible at regular woodworking and turning is another money and time drain I need to stay out of.

Rex Krueger

Was it really that long ago? I loose track! I'm very glad you liked it.

Rex Krueger

Isn't English a funny language?

Rex Krueger

I promise the stool will be a good one!

Rex Krueger

I cannot pretend that this style is always comfortable.

Rex Krueger

The sad truth is that intros hurt you on YouTube. They give people a reason to click away. That first 30 seconds is crucial.

Rex Krueger

I will do more of these. I forgot how much I like it.

Rex Krueger

It's a very legitimate way to work!

Rex Krueger

I absolutely will. There's a lot of garbage to sort through on these tools.

Rex Krueger

I'm glad you like it!

Rex Krueger

"Powerful". I like that.

Rex Krueger

I'm glad you like it, but I think we've also done a fair bit of skill-building recently. Turning is a skill.

Rex Krueger

I'm really glad it's useful!

THE MYTHICAL VIDEO IS HERE! I still remember you mentioned it to me over 2 years ago!

Henrik Ubbe

I know it’s ”…the sole of the plane”, but I keep hearing ”…the soul of the plane”. It is kind of nice…:)

Matt Evans-Koch

Nice review of many of the basics you've shown before, Rex. Thank you. You're getting pretty good at these cliff hangers. Looking forward to the stool video. Take care and have a great week ahead.

Richard C von Brecht

I liked the old intro’s. That type of thing can get stale but I don’t think they were ready to retire yet.

Richard C von Brecht

It looks like you had a good time doing this one. How often does a grown man get to roll around on the floor as part of his job. Just be careful where you step. I saw a lot of ankle twisters.

Robert Judy

Ditto with Christian. Well done, Rex!

Marc Barash

Thanks for another great video. Is it my eyes or is the video quality improved? It sure looks that way to me. I guess to save production time, no more Intro's. there have been none this year...Were always some of my favorite parts. It's what got me watching you early on and kept me coming back.

Christian Pelchat

These kinds of videos are my favorites. A lot of usefuls techniques for people who have to work in a more minimalist style. I am happy that you adressed the shooting method on the low bench. Thanks and keep them coming!

William Allen

Grrrrrreat! Love it. Of course I'm kinda invested in viceless work holding anyway, so it's always real nice to see others doing it as well.

John Hiemstra

Excellent techniques video Rex. Will you be providing links to purchases of the saw and hand planes?

The Super-wrench Garage

Rex it is always good to see a skill video mixed in with all the other content you do.

Sean McGown

Now I'm super motivated to build the low bench. Again, this just shows the power of practical knowledge. I think we understand but I'm not sure the everyday Joe Schmoe off the street realizes how powerful this kind of stuff is.
