Build-Along Part 5

In today's installment of the build-along series, we'll saw out the apron stock. I've got a bunch of tips for doing these rips cuts and making the most of a small board.
If you're building one of these (and I hope you are) don't forget to stop by the forum thread and show it off! We all want to see it.
See you next week!

I struggle getting the short bits too as a content creator. Much easier to edit, but way more work in planning and setup.

I also struggle with one task at a time. Being a content creator doesn't help. Not one bit.

I really don't have problems with that elbow, but I've learned to be careful. The pain comes back if I'm careless.

Learn to saw lefty. I have different joint issues and I am learning to do lots of things with both hands. When one side becomes too numb, I change sides.

I'm too slammed at work to build along with you, but if I did, I think I'd find these bite-size video pieces really handy. I think they would remind me to focus on one... task... at... a... time. :)

Rex glad that gimpy elbow didn’t get in the way of a good demonstration of rip sawing. Now go take some anti inflammatories and rest that elbow.
