That was well said about the part about modern gorillas not going into staging and moving towards and taking an objective like a proper military force. A chest suits that style better because it’s more in and out. A video explaining that part would be awesome!

Interesting video. Having grown up with ‘58 thru PLCE I am firmly biased. Quality set ups these days are stitched to a Hippo belt and don’t flop. Never been a fan of butt packs. With a decent bum roll or small daysack with a little snivel gear you can easily do 48hrs. I personally keep my jetboil in a ruck. I know lads do like you do but some nails and a cube will work and weigh less.

I appreciate this. I know they’re getting popular with a lot of folks on the civilian side. Naturally most of us are interested in seeing what it’s about. I only briefly had an Alice set up before we switched to molle everything to your vest. I think this definitely helps solidify I made the right choice in picking a chest rig. Solid info for sure!

Thanks for the video. Too many people are getting belt kit for the wrong reasons and assuming the whole idea is bad as a result.

That's what the bungees shown in the video are for. Eliminates most. But a good old buttpack rattle usually motivates me 😂

One of my biggest issues with belt kit was how much movement there was when running/crawling as soon as you started adding 1l water bottles and full mags. No matter how tight you adjusted it.
