Weekly news on update 0.50

I hope all of you are doing great and you're enjoying your weekends. The last few weeks have been pretty rough and the situation still isn't easy, not gonna lie. But frankly, it's time not to look back but ahead. I started this little journey to put a smile on people's faces and that's exactly where I want to be at again. So, let's talk Summer and the bunch, how about it?!
I've been able to finish the renders for a few scenes so far and began working on several other scenes too. It's gonna be a fun update, that much I can promise. There's still a lot to do though. I was determined to release another update in August, but I don't think I will be able to keep up with this schedule due to the recent events in my life.
I'm not willing to compromise the quality in order to meet an arbitrary due date I set myself and I'm sure most of you will appreciate it in the end. That's what I myself would expect from a developer I'm supporting. I still would like to apologize for the short delay though.
I am currently contemplating about where to go with the game from a business point of view, my least favorite part of the development and certainly not my forte, but a necessary one nevertheless. I am striving for the major league, which I consider to be a release on Steam. That's still quite a road to travel. I won't do anything in that regard until I'm close to finalize season one.
In the meantime though, I'd like to focus on getting the game out there a bit more. Creating promo-material, posting on all available platforms and keeping in touch with the community is much more time-consuming than I would have ever expected before I began this journey. I am also talking to other devs regarding cross-promotions and shout-outs, which can be extremely beneficial, especially in the beginning. I am determined not to bother you too much with stuff like that though. And I won't cram any promotion into the story just for promotional purposes, that's not gonna happen unless a character of another game fits perfectly into the big city and brings something to the table I know you and I would enjoy. But it also may never happen, we'll see how it goes.
And please, don't underestimate word-of-mouth promotion. A short recommendation can go a long way. I'd be eternally grateful too.
I don't have a lot to share today, but as always, I won't leave you without giving you at least something.
Feels good to be back with you and the bunch. Thanks for sticking with the game through good as well as bad times! And thanks again for all your kind words lately. Left me a bit speechless there, you marvelous people ❤

P.S. I am reading your criticisms and I really appreciate them. I will add a decision screen regarding Felix's path that will give Summer the choice for being either femdom or subby towards Felix. I will also extend the scene to address this properly of course.
