I just checked the last time I posted the previous news segment and it's almost been a month? What the frick? Time flies when you're hyperfocused on something, I'm telling you. Well... better late than never, am I right?! So, let's get to it then, shall we?!
A humongous thank you to all the new members having joined Summer's journey within the past few weeks. It really helps enormously, especially since the dollar value has decreased in recent months, which unfortunately has a real effect on SITC's budget due to me having to convert the revenue into Euros each month. But your generous support helped me quite a bit to circumvent the worst effects. Let's just hope it won't get any worse, maybe even jump back to previous values (wishful thinking on my part I suppose). As some of you know, I hate talking finances but it's something I can't just ignore for obvious reasons, so thank you big time for keeping this little project going for all of us!
Oh, and congrats to all the players who were quick enough claiming the free membership. Hope you'll enjoy your time here. As mentioned before, I'm also working on a little giveaway for regular paid members and it actually involves something physical. It's nothing too crazy, just a small little something to say thank you. I probably won't be able to finish it before the release of the next update though which receives all of my attention for now.
So yeah, I've been working non-stop lately and things are going well (except for my sleep deprivation maybe). This update takes a bit longer than usual due to some scenes being a bit more... let's say "sophisticated". I hope you'll appreciate them even though most of you probably won't even notice, haha. It helps me getting used to creating more detailed environments which certainly will come in handy for Season Two. There are also the different branches I have to take into account of course.
You won't have to wait another month for the next news segment, I can promise you that. And I'm also confident that I will be able to share the release date too by then. Please don't be mad if I have to postpone it by a day or two though, which very well could happen as we have learned through previous releases. It's much harder than expected setting up a realistic schedule. If GTA 6 can postpone their release, I can too! But seriously, sharing a release date publicly helps me getting things going on the final stretch and I really need that for motivation. I hope you'll understand should a brief delay become necessary.
There are still quite a few other things I'd like to talk about regarding plans for the full release in the near future, but I think I'll cut you some slack for now. I also need some stuff to talk about on the next news, haha.
Thank you all again for your trust and your contributions. Doing these custom renders is a lot of fun too. I will post a few more within the next couple of days. The second part of the Flip Fiction set is also coming up including a new poll.

All the companies I'm offering my game at are based in the US unfortunately, so there isn't really an alternative as of now. I am considering to publish the game on GOG, which is based in Poland but can't really give any more details just yet. I very much appreciate it though ❤️
