🕑 Added 2024-03-30 07:05:37 +0000 UTCFirst, I couldn't be more glad that this one won because it's now my favorite thing I've ever drawn in my entire life, second, I really hope I'm correct in that it won because even after closing the poll I've seen some of the numbers change, particularly when switching between creator view and member view. I went with the member view numbers, but if you look at the poll yourself and on your end this one doesn't have the most votes, I apologize, I have no idea what could be causing that. You just kinda have to take my word for it that it won on my end
I'm barely exaggerating on the first thing too, I've always been a pretty big Garfield fan and with Garfield not really being sexy and none of the female characters in the series really do much for me, so as a NSFW artist I don't really get to express that very often, there's whole sides of me that my audience doesn't usually get to see because they don't have a connection to kink. I even still have the Garfield plush I got for Christmas when I was about nine, it was a Christmas one wearing a Santa hat and holding a present box, but I had my mom take those parts off with a seam ripper so it can be an all-year toy, and I went EVERYWHERE with that thing. I was definitely way too old to by then but everywhere I went Garfield and Mario would be under my arm. I was so attached to those toys that when I was bored in school I wrote a crappy comic book on loose leaf paper where a cartoon version of me weilding a Keyblade and knowing magic spells teamed up with Mario and Garfield to save the multiverse. Don't worry, it gets stupider! It starts with me getting pulled through my TV into Garfield's world, like I'm some cartoon version of Captain N. Mario is already there with NO explanation for how that happened. I don't have my Keyblade yet, neither me nor Garfield nor Mario have any fighting moves, weapons, or powers yet, even though Mario in particular has no business not having any of those things ever.
To start off the adventure, Mario was given a Fire Flower, and Garfield was equipped with a pie gun, it was drawn (badly, because I was a kid) kinda like a crossbow with a big spring attached to it with a gloved hand at the end of the spring holding onto a pie that it would then let go of when the spring extended. (This actually got me scolded by a teacher when she looked over my shoulder and saw me drawing it because even though it was designed to look like an over-the-top Bugs Bunny-ass gadget that shoots pretty much the exact polar opposite of a bullet, it was still TECHNICALLY a gun. Remember that Recess episode where TJ gets in trouble for saying a made-up swear word because alternatives to swears have the same meaning as swears therefore making them swears? That's what that felt like.) The idea was to call back to the Garfield and Friends episode that actually covers why Garfield hates Mondays, because every Monday a person off-screen that we never see throws pies into his face at every opportunity and he can't avoid it, so having a pie-flinging device was like Garfield weaponizing Monday, using the thing he hates most to his advantage. I just made that sound way cooler than it actually was so now I'm gonna ruin it by admitting that the one giving out the weapons was...Nermal. Yeah. Fucking Nermal. Why was Nermal the one divvying out the weapons? Where did Nermal even get access to a specifically-designed pie-throwing device let alone a Fire Flower and Keyblade, two things that can never and SHOULD never exist in Garfield's world?

The reason I even want to tell that story is because of the similarities between how I depicted myself in that comic and my sona Katie, which is why I put her hat and glasses there to imply the boobs he's bouncing off of are hers, she turned herself into boobs. The only real difference between the two aside from age and sex is that Katie exists in a world where about half the population knows magic and her Keyblade isn't actually a Keyblade, it's just a witch staff that was designed with a theme that coincidentally made it look like a Keyblade, making it something anyone in her world can use, specifically in the interest of not making my self-insert who's already idealized enough a total Mary-Sue, which is exactly how I depicted myself in that old comic.
Basically, I thought it would be funny to make this a reunion. He has no idea that kid he saved the world with with Mario that one time grew up to be a chick who's really obsessed with her own boobs

Okay. This is actually really funny. And honestly, I did the same thing. But with Thomas the Tank Engine. Seriously, I wrote a couple of stories where I ended up on Sodor and got wrapped up in some Magic Railroad-ass story. It was really stupid, but I loved every second of it. And I'm still a fan of Thomas. So some things never change.
