Update (again)! Mei animation paused :'( D.Va almost complete instead :)

I've spent so many evenings testing and troubleshooting and researching solutions for physics issues and yadayadayada that I've been getting more and more frustrated with how long it's been since I last released an animation for you all. So! Instead of continuing to make you guys wait while I struggle with Mei, I thought I'd pause that and try and smash out the D.va animation as quickly as possible instead. That way I can go back to Mei while the VR version of D.va renders.
If you check your Mega archives you can find a video preview of where I'm at with the D.va animation. Main movements are essentially done so next up is:
Make it loop (Edit: this is done now)
Booty physics (Edit: this is done now)
Cooms (Edit: this is done now)
Fix suit clipping (Edit: this is done now)
Detail animation (believable arm and shoulder movements, hair physics, etc.) (Edit: this is done now)
Voiceover, lip sync, and facial expression animation
Sound effects
So yeah still a fair bit to do! But progress is fast on this one at least. Don't worry Mei enjoyers I'm not going to give up with that animation, I may just have to animate all the booba physics manually rather than with simulation (looks like most animators do this, which is fine for 20s loops, but you guys know I prefer much longer animations!), so I'm not sure how long that will take :')

Yeah I totally get what you're saying, and you do raise a fair point; using Discord just for links access and nothing else is an extra step for everyone, without the added benefits of what a Discord community usually is (an open forum for discussion). I just landed on that solution for secure links because it seemed that was the best practice, and as I said, I'm hesitant to add managing a community to my list of responsibilites 😅 I suppose what I could do is add the links to the Membership tab (although I'm sure I've seen those on Kemono too, if I'm not mistaken) and continue changing them on the first of the month. That way Discord isn't essential, and I can consider making the Discord more of a forum.

Links on Patreon *posts* end up on Kemono. Discord servers get scrapped also (though less en masse/frequently). Realistically the biggest flaw of using Discord for *only* the secure link share is that you are forcing your subscribers to use 1/100 slots for something that is designed for communication, and not utilizing it. Hell me even having this conversation with you here in a comment, and the limitations of how much I can really even explain .... Is just proof why patreon is a bad option for it.

Yeah I get what you mean! The Discord was originally only created for secure link sharing (I learned very quickly that links on Patreon end up on Kemono), and I think the only reason I haven't opened it up to community chat as well is because I already struggle to fit all this in around work and personal life obligations, so to add "Community Moderator" to my responsibilites is something I've been hesitant to do ahah :') I have been thinking I'd open up a general chat and feedback channel if/when the community gets bigger, so we'll see!

Just a personal opinion. But the Discord being *only* for the archive /content links and update posts seems a bit of a waste of having a discord server. Are you planning to add communication channels?
