A GIRL JUST FOR MONEY - EARLY ACCESS!
🕑 Added 2023-02-15 18:26:06 +0000 UTCI was quite a stupid teenager back then. The only thing I cared about was money and my comfort. I didn´t care about others and I just wanted to be rich. Anyway, my name is Rick and back then, I was a 17-year-old boy. I used to skip school quite often because I was working part-time jobs instead of going to school. The school wasn´t interesting enough for me and didn´t give me any money. And I was obsessed with money back then and it was my goal to earn as much money as possible. And it changed my character a lot. When I started to care just about money, all my empathy and will to help others were gone. Suddenly, I started to look out just for myself and I didn´t give a damn about others. And it didn´t make much popular at school. Especially girls didn´t like me at all because they saw my lack of empathy. They knew too well that I cared only about money… I had some male friends because I often bought them some snacks… but in the end, they just liked my money and not me. But I was too stupid to realize it. But one day… I changed.
It was Tuesday and I overslept. I woke up at 9 a.m because I was in a part-time job almost till midnight and was really tired after working almost half of the night. But whatever, I didn´t care that I would miss some lessons at school. I had a good feeling that I earned some money again. I grabbed my schoolbag and went to school. It was already the third class when I arrived.
“Where have you been, Rick?” the teacher almost yell at me when I entered the class.
“I am sorry, I overslept!” I just said and I wanted to sit on my usual seat… but it was taken by my classmate. And the only free chair was next to Mia.
“My gosh… how many times have you overslept this month already… You should do better than this! Sit next to Mia and be a good boy!!” the teacher told me. I wasn´t much happy that I had to sit next to Mia. Don´t get me wrong, she was a pretty girl but she was one of the best students in our class. And I knew that she didn´t like me because of my character.
“Hey…” I said when I sat next to her.
“Working in the night?” she asked me. She knew me well and could guess the reason of my absence very easily.
“Yeah… but I earned really good money!” I said.
“You really care only about money, right?” she asked.
“And what´s wrong about it? Money is freedom and I want to be free! That´s why I work so much. But people like you will never understand it!” I told her. I really don´t need a second mom. Mia was looking at me and it was a strange look. She was thinking about something. Then she giggled a little bit and asked me:
“You are willing to do really anything for money, right?”
“Yeah… pretty much!” I nodded.
“And do you want to earn 50 dollars?” she asked and her smile was so cheeky.
“What? Do you offer me 50 dollars?” I asked and couldn´t believe my ears. I knew that Mia was from a rich family and that she could probably afford to give me 50 dollars but why would she do that? She didn´t like so why would she offer me something like this?
“Yeah… I will give you those 50 dollars under one condition!” she said and her smile was really so cheeky. There has to be a catch. But even if there is a catch, I don´t care. I am really willing to do anything for 50 dollars.
“Okay… what do I have to do! You know I will do anything for 50 dollars!” I told her.
“Don´t you want to think it through?” she giggled. “You may regret this decision later!”
“If you give me those 50 dollars I will not regret anything!” I answered.
“Alright! As you wish, boy!” Mia giggled. “Meet me at 4. p. m in front of my house. Don´t be late!” she said. “And you have to sign the contract!”
“Sign the contract?” I asked.
“Yes! I will write a contract that you are willing to do anything for 50 dollars and you will sign it! I want to have insurance that you won´t walk off and you will have insurance that I will give you those 50 dollars!” she said. And it was actually a very good idea. I thought I could be fooled by her but now… she will have to give me those 50 dollars.
“It sounds fair!” I agreed. Mia wrote down the contract and I signed it. I signed that I will have to do anything she asks for 50 dollars. I didn´t mind any work so I was quite okay with it. But I had no idea what was coming. I had no idea that I made a terrible mistake.
I came exactly at 4 p.m to her house and she was there already waiting for me. She had there her very good friend Fiona. They were two besties.
“Well well well… you are right on time, Rick!” Mia giggled.
“Of course! I want my 50 dollars!” I said.
“I bet you want! So come in! We will start right away!” she said.
I had no problem with that and I came to her house. She and Fiona led me to her living room and there… they sat down on the couch. I stood there in front of them and I was waiting…
“Well… you agreed to do anything, right?” Mia giggled.
“Of course, tell me what to do and I will do it!” I said.
“First of all, you need to change your clothes for work! It is already prepared in the bathroom. You must put it on, otherwise, you won´t get the 50 dollars!” she said. It was a bit weird because I didn´t mind using my clothes for work.
“Ehm… okay!” I said and I went to change my clothes in the bathroom. But when I came in… I just gulped and I was speechless. In the bathroom was a … FRENCH MAID COSTUME. I cannot wear it… it is a feminine costume. I just… I was thinking for a while and … well I have to do this because I signed the contract. I put it on and I already felt so much embarrassed. Then I came back to the girls and they just couldn´t stop laughing. They were telling me that I was such a cute maid. Then they even gave me makeup and put a wig on my head. I was so embarrassed that I was almost crying. But it was my mistake… I signed the contract and there was no way back. And finally… the task was to clean up the whole house while the girls were watching me and laughing. Even Mia´s mother came later in the evening and she joined the girls and they all were enjoying looking at me cleaning the house.
That evening… I realized that money is not the most important thing in life. Dignity and empathy are far more important. And later in my life, I was really glad for this lesson which Mia and Fiona gave me. It changed me and since then… I became a better person. A person who cared about others and spread love all around the world.
