The Foundry Playtest
🕑 Added 2022-03-08 19:00:05 +0000 UTCHere it is! This is likely to be the final playtest before we launch 2.2 given that we remain on our current trajectory, and I'm incredibly excited to finally get it into player hands. Please make sure you read all signs in the starting zone thoroughly, and do not hesitate to return to the starting zone to change difficulty or acquire different gear should you find this playtest too difficult.
Note that anything you see in this playtest is subject to change, though we are very happy with the current product. In coming days we will release a feedback and bug reporting form that we would very much appreciate if you filled out.
There will be a thread in the #primal-souls chat in the Discord, so please direct all discussion related to the Foundry there once you have finished this playtest.
And finally these are a few important things to note in regards to the Legendary equipment included in this playtest:
- Avsohm'Kohl does not grant slowfalling (this is a bug and will not be like this in full release)
New passive abilities are enabled for select Legendaries, including some passives we haven't shown off yet!
- Max damage critical hits with Hovadchear's Greathammer now reduce enemy defense and knockback resist|
- Anyr's Scepter grants Strength II when below 20% health
- Frostfang now briefly applies a slowing "freeze" effect to mobs the first time you strike them
- Voidtear Dagger now has fancy particles and reduces nearby enemy aggro to an absurd extent
- Masayoshi is now tied with Frenzy for second highest Mythical DPS (no downsides, promise! try it for yourself!)
