Jacked - Chapter 2
🕑 Added 2019-03-05 08:07:26 +0000 UTCThe Viet Cong had thrown its worst at Chris Winter, but he managed to survive the deadly jungles of ‘Nam and returned home at the end of his tour. His dreams of a sweet homecoming were shattered when he learned that his girlfriend, Jenny, had dumped him for his former best friend Mike. Heartbroken, Chris had climbed into his old Jeep and set out for Monument Valley to do a little soul searching. One minute, Chris was driving across the Arizona desert, watching the sun set over the mesas. The next, he found himself beamed aboard a spaceship crewed by aliens…
(EDIT: In retrospect, I decided that I didn't like Chris' initial reaction on the first page. I decided to make a slight revision so that it fit better with the tone set in the first chapter. I have uploaded the revised version below :) )
