Status Update #27
🕑 Added 2025-03-14 23:48:07 +0000 UTCHello, everyone!
New week, new status update. We had a good week and hope you had one as well!
We've reached a point where the update is starting to feel quite packed. There's something for everyone this time around, and there's still plenty left to create. The render mountain will keep growing as we hit the next scenes and depending on the scene flow, there might be a ton of variation that has to be made. Otherwise it might feel like a missed opportunity.
For a while now we've been pondering about a couple of scenes and how to make them smoother. We'll work on the script for them this weekend and carry on with some polishing as well.
We have also chosen the next previews for 0.7 and worked on Sophie's scene.
Weekly summary:
78+ new renders
Render fixes
Ambience & SFX
Set design
Other news
It looks like Becca is leading the Influencer poll for the March special render, followed by Bree and Ms. Hill in second place. Becca fans, rejoice! And before someone ask again: yes, she will be around in the game and not only on Ember.
Cheers and have a great weekend,
Npx & Robison

Wanted to wish you all a Happy St. Patricks day.

Si, there will be a Spanish translation. :)

@ILMB: that's really sweet, but I'm actually totally uncreative. I prefer to leave the writing to people who are good at it ๐ซฃ๐

@Lilatentakel Wow, you should totally be a writer! That was a good story write up, I really felt the emotion and suspense! You should write novels or at least Summer Heat fan fiction! ๐ @Jonathan Hang That's a great idea! We can go on a Scooby-Doo mystery with some of the girls and once we solve it Ms Hills will HAVE to let us stay at camp! ๐
Lilatentakel
I will anwser you soon

I can't wait any longer xD I'm getting more and more impatient but I know you need your time and I know it will be wonderful

Great, I'll see if I can Friend both of you on discord ๐

A cameo of the Bra monster with the option to name who it is... Hehe, yeah... Hmmm ๐ค.... what if MC becomes the "Bra Monster?" Since he's STILL "possibly" leaving. He's like, "F it! If I'm going to leave. I might as well make the most of it and GO ALL OUT! ๐ฅฐ" OF COURSE, he's got to score with all the SH ladies before he leaves ๐. ORโฆ maybe finding and solving the Bra Monster's mystery would help change Kathy's mind about letting MC stay? ๐
Lilatentakel
Very good comparison Bro ๐๐ And yes, together for the Bra-Monster...or ILMB for Bra-Monster ๐พ๐ฝ๐ป
Lilatentakel
@ILMB: I would love it if you were included in the game as a bra monster...a cameo role so to speak. Helen opens the wardrobe and there you are, covered in bras. While Helen runs off in total shock, you flee out of the window, dragging a trail of bras behind you. The story is then retold around the campfire. I should be a writer...๐๐
I Love Mia's BOOBS
Thanks for the update guys, I never expected we'd see Becca in person so soon. ๐ฏ And you say there will be "something for everyone this time around"? Sounds like update 0.7 will be packed as tight as one of Ms Hill's bras, if that's even possible! ๐ Until the Bra monster gets it of course. ๐ Mwahahahaha!! ๐พ๐
I Love Mia's BOOBS
I don't have the part of Bra monster yet? Maybe Mike or Helen can still beat me out for it? ๐ณ Either way it would be very fun to hear Helen mention she saw a Bra monster or tells the story of the Bra monster around the campfire. ROFL ๐ Perhaps Helen tells the story of the Bra monster after all the girl's bras disappear and they are all forced to go to the campfire braless! ๐ Now all we need to do is find a Shirt monster and it will be the BEST CAMPFIRE EVER!!! ๐๐๐๐ Mwahahahaha!! ๐๐ฅณ๐
Lilatentakel
That's how I see it too, bro ๐
Lilatentakel
A brief mention is enough for us. But I fear that Rob and Npx are not even aware of this, so the Bra Monster will never leave the comments section ๐

Serรญa genial, no sรฉ hablar ingle, lo que se es bรกsico pero me a ayudado en casi todo, juegos y demรกs, aรบn asรญ hay cosas que siento que pierdo parte de la trama en algunos casos ๐
Lilatentakel
Got you
Jonathan Hang
@Lilatentakel What happens if they quickly mention it and dismiss it? Helen: "Have you guys heard the legend of the Bra monster." Kathy: "That's just a made-up story by some kids (us) to use as an excuse to go around stealing lingerie." Moving on... ๐คฃ
Jonathan Hang
@Lilatentakel Nah, you're not greedy. You're asking for something reasonable. Bree & Sophieโฆ you can't separate them ๐ฅฐ! I'M GREEDY ๐! I WANT EVERYONE ๐!
Jonathan Hang
@Lilatentakel & @Summer Sun I am, but I RARELY use it. I only use it here and there to contact my Devs (faster), get my custom request renders (that can't be send through Patreon), and check on them if they're still "active" after long radio silence. My Discord name is JDAKINGK36.
Lilatentakel

Lilatentakel
Yes, i'm am. You use the same name on Discord like here? Then i will send you a dm.
Summer Sun
@Jonathan & @Lilatentakel Are you guys on the Summer Heat Discord? If so, send me a DM or Friend Request if you like
Lilatentakel
I don't want to appear greedy, but the two hooties in a threesome would be pretty intense ๐ฅต๐ฅฐ
Lilatentakel
For me, it would be enough if Helen simply told everyone around the campfire that she had seen the Bra monster ๐พ๐
Jonathan Hang
Are you including Bree as well ๐ค? I mean, I guess they ARE a duo ๐คญ. I mean, "SURE, WHY NOT!!! IN FACT!!! GIVE ME ALL THE LADIES OF SH ๐๐ฅฐ๐๐คค!!!" Except for Helen (sorry to Helen lovers ๐ ).
Jonathan Hang
Alright, I got you ๐... I'll edit my post ๐ . I would love to see a Scooby-Doo-like adventure with the crew. Mike and MC could be the Shaggy and Scooby Doo lol. AND our girls (I'm jiggling ๐คญ), yes please ๐!

The "Bra Monster." That made me laugh. Poor ILMB didn't got the part... yet ๐.

Hey Newt! ๐ So all sounds great but I did not realise that Becca would be joining us in game. I don't think I've ever been so excited! Ah those influencers are doing a good job, nice to hear they are still under my mind control spell ๐ Glad you've been working hard and decided on the next preview, I can't wait to see it! Have an awesome weekend you guys, thanks again

Good morning everyone ๐ด I hope you've already missed me ๐ So, let's read what Rob and Npx are writing... The next update is packed and there's something for everyone. Does that mean all the ladies, main, side and ember ladies too? That would be epic ๐ฅฐ Yes, it's understandable that you take the opportunity to do the variations right away ๐ And I think it's good that you're polishing scenes right away. That attention to detail is what makes SH so good ๐คฉ Am I reading that right, you're working on a scene for Sophie ๐๐ฅฐ๐๐ฅฐOkay, I have to make a few rules here: when you're working on something for Sophie, everything else has to rest. All your attention and computing power must be focused on my beloved Sophie. The scene has to be perfect...otherwise I'll send the Bra Monster ๐ ๐พ๐ Becca is so adorable and hot. It's brilliant that our MC finally gets to meet her...hopefully very intensely ๐ฅต So, now I've reached the end of the DevLog and I haven't read anything about the Bra Monster. I swear to you, if in the next update Helen doesn't mention anything about a Bra monster, I will send Helen to you...so think twice ๐๐ ๐คช Rob and Npx, I wish you and everyone else a great weekend and stay healthy.

Finally, a Sophie preview! ๐๐๐

Becca's Header ๐!!! I like that sign! Nice on the update! Quick and nice ๐! I can already feel the HYPENESS!!! Sophie's scenes ๐! Can't wait for that 0.7 preview! Becca for the win ๐๐ป๐ฅฐ! I wonder what her color is going to be ๐ค. And I can't wait to meet her in-game (along with the rest of the Ember girls) ๐. Hope everyone continues to have an amazing and awesome week โ๐ป๐! Edited Psst... Npx & Robison I would love to see a Scooby-Doo-like adventure with the crew. Mike and MC could be the Shaggy and Scooby Doo lol. AND our girls! Mmm, mmm, mm ๐! Yes please ๐! OH! And have ILMB as the Bra Monster!

I'm glad to hear you're releasing another preview. It's fun to see what MC and the girls will be up to soon. You say "There's something for everyone this time around" so there's going to be something for Nina & Hannah fans too? That would be great if true! ๐ฅฐ Have a good weekend with lots of scripting and polishing success! ๐
