Status Update #67

This week we made many changes to improve visual flow and how you interact with some of the scenes.
For example, we decided to remove a minigame. It felt a bit out of place and we replaced it with something more akin to a quick time event that fits much better. We haven't had these before in Summer Heat, and we're introducing them smoothly without breaking the immersion. It feels natural and you'll have immediate consequences and different reactions in these moments.
You will have a chance to impress, or disappoint.
Aside from the editing and polishing, we've post-processed renders and fixed render mistakes. New renders were made for the rendering queue as well.
We've also worked on our creative tools and assets, upgrading our ability to design and have more options for our clothes in the future. We'll start going over these on the design workbench when we begin the next dev cycle.
What we've done this week, listified:
Edited a group scene
Animation work
New renders
New SFX
SFX changes (Better timing, less repetition)
SFX fixes (Wrong sound effects being used)
Render clipping fixes (Hair causing black lines)
Custom textures
Clothing morphs/fixes (Better curves and tighter fit)
Next week will be the last preview/teaser for 0.7, featuring Ms. Hill.

Hi ! Thanks for this new update status. When I'm reading "Next week will be the last preview/teaser for 0.7, featuring Ms. Hill.", should I understand that the official 0.7 update will be available in February?

So I'll be honest, there wasn't really much to excite me in this update... Until the end! Not sure how I feel about the QTE tbh, won't know till we test it out but usually minigames tend to break the immersion (usually but not always) so I'm looking forward to testing that out. Really happy to hear you've been working on clothing korohs but that's only because I like to see tighter clothes and more curves ๐๐พ๐ And the fact that the final preview is next week means that not only is the game coming closer to release, but we don't have too long to wait for the preview so that's awesome and better still, it's Ms Hill herself. Can't wait for that! Thanks for all your hard work this week guys, don't forgetget to take a breather and get your rest in when you need it and I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Ms. Hill teaser ๐
