Pretty much. There's multiple possible voting configurations someone can do to try to get the popular will, but Hermit has legitimately chosen the configuration that statistically is the worst at getting honest views of voter preference. It's one of the two big flaws with his Patreon setup.

I wonder how different these polls would be if we couldn't see what the current standings are. It always seems like everyone dogpiles onto the one winning option, or try to get the votes as close as possible between two to make poor Moth choose both.
