I always love Dune references in 40K. As crystalline, silicon based life the sand worms of Arakis probably have more in common with an unaltered shard than anything else Taylor has. They even secrete a substance that gives super powers, with severe side effects. I am in the middle of a reread at the moment, and I just got to the Catachan Ant scene. It reminded to ask if there was any plan to follow up on that more. I keep having this image of Taylor dueling a Kaiju scale Hive Tyrant with all of Catachan watching. Ending with a kneel before Frodo moment involving Imperator sized Catachan devils. I'm not asking for spoilers. I just wondered if more was planned for that. Leaving an Ancient Hive Tyrant alone seems like a BAD idea if nothing else.
