This isn't the chapter 13-1 - 03/12/2023
🕑 Added 2023-12-03 10:29:57 +0000 UTCThis isn't the full chapter of a certain story.
Or maybe it is, who knows (grin)?
Okay, the title may be a bit misleading...just a little.
It is the update which was sent to the betas using Inquisitorial courier ships. Once they sent it back, the priority will be to have it as a Christmas update (whether it will be the 24, the 25, or any other day will be a surprise for you, bwhahaha!)
The final length of the update is 37,000+ words...I think I will try a similar length for all the chapters of the Legacy Arc (which should occupy me a good part of the year 2024, I think). I think it is a more reasonable size than some of the behemoth-chapters I wrote in the past, and I'm sure the betas are going to be far less exhausted from it, which should in turn decrease the duties of the Commissars and other Inquisitors. Ahem.
Other good surprises are on the way, hope you have a Happy December!

No, I am not going to retcon that. Chaos was very much created by the War in Heaven in the timeline of the Weaver Option, and that's not something I'm going to change. As for Vashtorr and Dragon, while they have technology in common, their 'portfolios' are in fact very different.

So, a question that's somewhat unrelated to this chapter. I recently became aware of the....retcon? tweaking? of the lore of the war in heaven. Mainly that chaos predated that conflict and much of their power was sealed away in planet sized prisons by the Necrons/eldar who teamed up. It's a very silly retcon if you ask me; but I'm curious if you're going to include that? Also an ear worm of an idea, if you haven't considered it already, Dragon vs Vashtorr w/ her subsuming his...'portfolio'?

Ha! Ha! Not answerting this question for now.

So the question I, will the new Catachan Devils be primarily Red or Gold? Since both will almost certainly be present. Also, new Atlas?
