Eights originals winds, a.k.a. "breaths": Life, Light, Bright, Beast, Death, Heavens, Metal and shadows. But there are in fact many, many more "lores" in WHF, and Antony is spoilt for choices. However if I can take a guess, once you remove the most "evil" and incompatibles lores, the most probable choices for the 4 new breaths as foundation of the Imperium would be the following : Ice, Tempest, Yang and Yin. They are the most "human" compatibles of the lot.

Thiemo Guenther

Hmm, I wonder what would manage to put fear in the "hearts" of the parasites... Well, I guess it would be the Maelstrom being significantly weakened? And/or perhaps the successful activation of that beacon device Taylor has as a project....

I'm assuming that Magnus does in fact get redeemed, since he witnessed an apparition of a Adjutant Spider from the future. Not too mention, wasn't a "Wind" brought into association with him, by the Spider?

Red Bard

lots of new plot hooks introduced here, I'm eager to see where this is headed!, been playing warhammer 40k rougue trader lately, so I'm even more hyped than usual.

Thanks for the not teaser. Things continue to get interesting...

Forgottenone

I wonder if the reason why the iron warrior was not reduced to ash was to let everyone know that the so called emperor is afraid. Pride before the fall.

Forgottenone

I thought it was ten? 8 colors plus black and azure that happens when you combine the color all in one? Wait dwarfs gold is could be another... Wonder what the 12 could be...

Gohu lacd

Huh... Did you turned the iron warriors into a mix of Fireborn K'daai and bull-centaurs Taur'ruk ? Addaioth is really just another name for Hashut.

Time to start theorizing. cue the music

He wasnt the emperor at the time. And this occurred at the same time as his previously established wife and peer was perma-killed. It is unlikely he was in the right state of mind to undo such a cataclysm, assuming he was able to do so alone. It was likely on his to do list after the Great Crusade. But Chaos happened.

Surprised Emps couldn't do anything regarding the timeloop, hopefully the Gang with help of probably the Van Saar STC will eventually free them.

Gabriel Meadow

There are only eight Winds of Magic in WHF, so that means Antony's adding more. That ought to be !FUN!

Templar9999

A lot to take away from this. At least one of them involves the implication of 12 deified living saints. Each aligned with one of the 12 winds. And likely aligned with the aspects of 12 of the primarchs as well. And we have confirmation of 11 currently loyal primarchs. The next last saved primarch will likely not be Omegon, as he already had his chance to ask for forgiveness, and refused. The last bastion of the federation has been Grey Boy'd. That makes sense. And something the parahumans have experience with.
