It could be a teaser - 14 July 2024
🕑 Added 2024-07-14 11:00:42 +0000 UTCI'm back, and on my country's national day, no less.
Praise the Man-Emperor of Mankind!
To begin with a topic only loosely related with the story: yes, I'm aware that for 2-3 days, ff.net once more got unavailable for pretty much everyone (which included your humble author, incidentally).
This was...unconvenient, shall we say? To keep it polite.
Fortunately, it seems as of this morning the website was back, and though I haven't had the time to check everything, first glance told me nothing was lost.
All for the better, I suppose.
That said, obviously, I am not going to treat it as a minor alarm; what with all the alerts gone since last year (at least) and more and more anomalies coming up, I would be really wildly optimistic if I didn't plan for contingencies.
As such, somewhen before the end of July, I will do my best to take a few days off to post TWO on Archive of Our Own. I think it is one of the few stories that aren't there (and I can't check right now, because guess, what, AO3 is unavailable to me...this is beginning to feel like a pattern).
Anyway.
Writing on 11-3 is progressing well, the guess is that it should end with a 39K-41K chapter.
Maybe.
Otherwise, will you take a small not-teaser for the Sunday after-meal?

Oh, I can confirm the 'Hope Beacon' is an important part of the Emperor's plans to save Mankind from Chaos. Of course, it is just a few careful phases for an early plan, but the foundations are important, no? And yes, Chaos will feel its destruction is a priority. Of course, one needs to remember that for all their hatred of the Astronomican, they haven't yet managed to take it out either, and the last time they did try, it required pretty much the Horus Heresy and landing billions of traitors on Terra...and in the end, the result wasn't exactly the total victory they wanted.

Yes. My bet is on Vashtorr or someone of his capabilities, since clearly breaking websites is really per their chaotic portfolio.

Clearly its the work of Chaos for why you cant access the sites Antony they are trying to stop you from posting.

The turning on a second Orderly Aetheric Engine is a key stepping stone in the Emperor's current plans, from my own understanding of course, who truly knows with this author? Mankind has been mining enough 'destiny stones' for the Emperor to work on the first Aetheric Engine. Which will be very needed cause I can bet my money the four will do everything they can to destroy the second Aetheric Engine the moment they become aware of it. If they can find a certain Jellyfish species in time, they might have more revisions added to said plan. This is the Emperor and the amount of goals is going to be a mile long at least. After all, said ancient Jellyfish is one of the few ceatures alive that could challenge chaos and become a being of order... if chaos happened to be very busy with a new lighthouse it would be a funny coincidence.
