The odds 124 unbetaed
🕑 Added 2024-11-26 09:58:30 +0000 UTCThe task was hard, but thanks to the Muses, I have been able to complete this monthly update of The odds were never in my favour.
It is chapter 124, titled May of Diplomacy.
And yes, before you ask, it is going to be the Alexandra-style of diplomacy.
Why would it be anything else, after all? (grin)
Anyway, the chapter is 20,000 words.
And I suppose I can announce it now, the chapter of next month is going to be Seventh Task.
It is time for the Tournament to end.
I am also going to post a poll in the next minutes; it will be related to the writing schedule for December.

Yes, it's very ironic given what he did in canon...

Thanks for the new chapter. It continues to amuse me that Lockhart, of all people, is a voice of reason.

In many ways, the Seventh Task is the 'fun part' for Alexandra...no matter how sad it is to say it.

Damn it, that's what happens when I don't re-read my notes...I will have to change the problematic passages before the final update.

Love the story kinda hoped she wouldn’t have anything major for a little bit to recover but it is what it is

Hermione's animagus form appears to have changed - back when they all took the revealing potion, she was an Arctic Fur Seal, but in this chapter she's apparently an Otter?
