And now I'm reminded that Percy still owes Poseidon several high quality rum bottles from when he used the Trident to raid his private stash at the end of the first great quest. Guess he wont have any trouble settling that debt. .

I feel that Hera is gonna try to assert herself over more domains in a bid to be unreachable by Zeus Greek aspect. And I feel that this variant of the Greek king being such a tyrant is terribly appropriate for such a fellow. Love your writing always

Rum and all the bottles of the sea washing up there... So it's the sea tax of sorts. Wonder how many messages in a bottle are hidden in that room. Still laying claim to the sea of monsters for a moment is an achieving more then most demigod ever dream of. I noticed he didn't give up claim of being the pirate king. Edit I meant his claim of being royalty. As pirate king seems to attached to the sea of monsters
