He lives! I gotta say, I really like the art in this one - the anatomy (gestures, expressions, poses, etc.), clothing (Ellie's shirt, the way it drapes [something I was never good at drawing] and isn't static panel to panel), shading. It's all great. Also, this strip totally fails the Bechdel Test. :P
