This isn't a teaser - 26 June 2025
🕑 Added 2025-06-26 08:17:07 +0000 UTCRight, let us continue this story of not-teaser.
While the writing is progressing better than I expected (it's getting bloody hot most of the day where I live, meaning that sadly I am unable to write during the afternoon, escalation time is in the morning) the word count is as usual extremely long, and I may have to cut the expected chapter in two parts...
You know, better to take that decision before we reach 50K words. Right? Right?
As for other stories, I can probably swear that for July, the stories which will receive my attention will in all likelihood be An Impractical Guide to Godhood and The Dance is not Over. That is, if the penguins and the Emus don't launch a crusade against global warming.
Hey, stranger things have been happening recently...

Plus this time, the 'very bad stuff' happened to House Draik, not to him personally. Assuredly, it's inconvenient, but it's far from the end of the world.

And I suspect the Draik were not fully destroyed by Guilliman’s intention. This saddles Vandire with a crippled ally under dubious management.

Damn! One strike reduces a fraction to less than 40 percent effective.

I imagine Xerxes had to be competent somehow to rise as high as he did, bribes be damned. Itd just Weaver who makes him so angry as to be irrational.
Silver Wolf
Wow Xerxes Vandire being competent for once. I suppose this is more in his wheelhouse than his other appearances. Glad to see though we been lacking competent opposition to Weaver since the Despoiler.
