I'm sort of thinking that she can't live with the thought of someone hating her so much as she may have hated on others.
But in all seriousness, I do realize that just because his fingers may have been reattached doesn't mean his hand it okay. His hand got mangled and even if the fingers are replanted they'll never be the same again, nevermind other injuries to his hand that didn't sever any digits. I would suspect some degree of nerve damage, severed tendons, and lots of stiches.
'How bad is it?' Is she talking about his hand or his hospital bill? 'Cause it looks like they may have managed to reattach his fingers. But a week long hospital bill? That'll hurt. That'll hurt a lot more than a couple missing fingers.
