2311 has ambi slide release, Aaron still uses his index finger to depress the slide lock release xD.

320 mags are definitely a nice option. They are the Glock mags of the metal world.

Well fuck, I feel like he's handled and shot too many DS 1911's/2011's lately.. I was excited for this one, but Aaron's about as excited for this as he is Fast & Furious 11! Safety (probably needs a stronger spring on the detent), Optics foot print (maintains zero, no ejection port crap), Holsters (will arrive eventually), and the trigger can be tuned.. Still I'm satisfied with the thorough and unbiased review.. The fact that you don't do vs. reviews..

As always great review. I have been really curious about this gun and appreciate your perspective. I’ve been waiting for the compact slide with the full size grip option (like the Glock 45) because i really like that profile.

Just ordered the Platypus a few weeks ago and after watching the 2311 review, I’m glad I did. Aaron just didn’t seem as excited about the 2311 as he was about the Platy. Having said that, I’d love to see a Platypus vs 2311 review.
