When shooting the monthly challenges, is a friction retention only OWB, such as the Phlster Floodlight OWB authorized, or does an OWB have to have some form of active retention E.g. SLS, ALS, or something similar?

I semi killed a Modlite PL350 G2 today. I clean my guns with Carb and Choke cleaner. I left the light on while doing this. Something melted in the switch part of the light and locked it up. After thinking I was going to break the switch, I got it working again, but these lights are not chemical resistant I guess.
