I bought the Pro Tac 5 for teaching/range and a 4.25 EDC for, well…edc. They have been fantastic. Only issue I had was with 4 21 round magazines choking but the other mag capacities are “boringly reliable.” Bul customer service took the mags back and awaiting replacements. I bought 15 mags when I bought the pistols, so it doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue with mags. This experience has turned me into a bit of a fan boy.

Yea I think it's because they are so hard to find. Been trying to get the tac pro for a min. Always missed the alerts because I would be sleeping. Settled on the prodigy comp. Looking forward to that one too.

I've owned multiple BUL SASII pistols. All of them have been great shooting. The only reliability issue was with one specific completion model where the optic plate screws were slightly too long interfering with the extractor. BUL customer service was excellent to deal with. I've never had an issue magazine availability, but I have always ordered extra magazines at the time the pistols were in stock. Another over looked BUL pistol is the Glock clone Hatchet models. Those have the best striker fired triggers of any pistol I've experienced, probably better than most after market Glock triggers.
