How is the trigger versus the Mod1? I understand they tuned it to be crisper and altered the geometry a little.

My 1301 didn’t like the slower bird shot at first either. The 1300 fps bird shot had no issue

I’m a Beretta and Benelli shotgun guy for duck hunting. I had my Benelli cerakoted camo because of some surface rust concerns and the coating had some overspray into the action. It’s caused a lot of cycling issues. As to the 1301 gen 2, from what I’ve seen it’s a great gun but it’s hard to look past the value of the A300UP
