Serial - Suddenly Daddy Part 7
🕑 Added 2018-03-21 17:25:49 +0000 UTC She crawls up to the other side of the bed and stretches out, her ten out of ten body on full display. She pats the spot next to her. With a smile you lay down beside her. She turns over to face away from you and shimmies back toward you. Laying on your side facing her you spoon her warm sweaty body. Your face nuzzling into her neck as you put your arm around her slender waist. As much as you just wanted to enjoy the afterglow with your incredible new lover you simply couldn't let what happened slide by unacknowledged.
In a soft voice you say. “Claire, that was amazing baby. But...about the door...”
She takes your hand in hers and squeezes it into her belly. “Mmmm, thank you for understanding Ted. God you are the best. I was so lucky to find you.” You take a second to marvel at that as you look over her smooth flowing curves. She was lucky to find you!? It was the other way around no doubt about it. Your buddies simply couldn't believe you were able to snag a woman like her.
“About the door...about the kids...” You insist. “...what was that all about? Claire, you have to let me know about these things. I don't want anymore misunderstandings, especially not in the heat of the moment!”
She wriggles back into you a bit more, seeming to enjoy the feeling of your big burly body around hers. “I know, I know. I'm sorry about that. I just didn't want to scare you off before we...well, you know.” She takes a breath. “I think I mentioned earlier. We are, um, liberated. Free thinkers you might say. We don't let society dictate our morality.” There is a long moment of quiet. You don't say anything as you could tell she was about to continue. You just stroke and snuggle her shapely form, giving her little kisses every so often to her ear and cheek.
She finally continues. “Poppy and Jeremy's Dad, he...he was...he was a pretty shitty father. He was a cruel man, petty, heartless. He messed those kids up pretty bad. The way he would...bully and berate those two. He was...so cruel, just so unnecessarily mean. Mocking their feelings, mocking their bodies, mocking their budding sexuality. Especially poor Jeremy” You feel as she struggles to control her breathing, this was obviously a very emotional subject for her. “He abused his own kids, emotionally that is. I never would have stood for physical abuse. But...” She takes another deep breath. “God Ted, I should have done more. I let it happen right under my nose. During those oh so crucial formative years. God I was a fool. I was so busy finishing up school. Night classes, some pro bono work to get myself established. I was blind to it at the time, god I was so blind.”
You hug her tight. “You were busy, that's all. Building your career to provide for them. Don't be so hard on yourself.” You say with sympathy. You could tell the kids meant the world to her and she wouldn't have purposely turned a blind eye.
“That's no excuse. Anyways, the short of it is when I finally threw that piece of shit out of our lives I swore to them I would never judge them for who they were. I encourage them to live free of petty antiquated ethics. We share things with each other that other families don't. I know it must sound weird to you. But we are totally open and honest with one another. You locking the door went against everything I've taught those two. As if I was ashamed of what I was doing, or I wanted to stifle their natural curiosity.” She turns her head and peers at you with her dark blue eyes. “Is any of this making sense?”
Reaching forward you kiss her on the side of her lips. “I suppose. But...don't you guys want privacy sometimes? I mean, at least for intimate stuff?”
She laughs lightly. “That's when our openness is most important of all! I know this is a lot to take in...and you must thing us horribly strange. But, I think of us as enlightened. I think it is healthier this way. I think all adult children and their parents ought to have such understanding. Don't you?”
You didn't know what to think after that. “Yeah but...it's your kids.” You didn't have any real arguments, it was just so weird. “You let your kids just...watch?”
“So? It's not like we do anything with each other. So we watch, we ask questions, we explore our feelings and sexuality. Where's the harm in that? I've learned a lot about them, just watching. And them from me.” She then giggles. “I look forward to watching you with one of them...”
“What!?” You exclaim, not allowing her to finish her thought. You get up onto your one elbow to look down at her more fully. You see as she looks back she was absolutely serious! “Claire!”
She looks up at you with a gentle patience. “Oh don't look at me like that. Ted, listen, it's okay. I told you. We are very liberated here. We are very non-traditional. If you want to have sex with Poppy or Jeremy I don't mind. Hell, I would encourage it. As long as everyone is okay with it. Just...consider it one of the perks of being with me.” Your eyes are wide, your mouth agape as you listen to this in disbelief. She leans up and gives you a little kiss to your chin. You stammer and sputter, completely at a loss for words. She strokes your face. “Don't be like that Ted. Just...relax.”
After a time she continues. “With how busy at work I often am I couldn't blame you if you wanted to let off some steam with one of them. Besides, they obviously like you and...well, they'll get you in the end if that's what they really want. You've seen them. They are hot as hell and they know it. You're only a flesh and blood man after all. They'd get you eventually whether I approved of it or not.” She pats your thigh. “Ted, if you want to you go ahead. With my blessing. I've heard they are both very good in their own way.”
“You've heard...!?” You simply couldn't believe your ears. “Claire, this is crazy! I'm not going to cheat on you! Not with your own kids. Not with anyone, but especially not with them!”
Claire looks at you with the most curious and amused expression. She finally laughs at the quaint notion. “Cheat on me? Oh Ted, my dear wonderful Ted. It's not cheating if it's family.”

LOL! God damnit! You did it again Nen! Yeah, that is quite the line. I quite like it which is why I ended this section with it. A nice punchy final line for this little chapter. Of course...now that it is sitting on top of the comment section and it is the first thing people see on the way in to the post...maybe a little less of an impact now than what it might have had.
