Update: Month 2 Feedback
🕑 Added 2018-04-15 15:27:18 +0000 UTC Hello my awesome dudes and dudettes. We are well into month two and I thought I would do an update on the Patreon and reach out to you guys for some feedback on how things are going. If you could please take a moment to respond to the feedback section, I would really appreciate it.
This first month and a half has been pretty cool. But it has also been quite challenging. I thought I'd share some thoughts from my end of things.
The Cool Stuff
The first few dollars made from pursuing my passion. That just felt nice. It was only 17 dollars, but it was you guys putting your hard earned money into telling me that you like what I do. As I said, that just felt nice and I thank you. When I build up enough I plan on buying Scrivener with the money. I could buy it now, but I want to have something bought directly from your guys' support.
By having to work within Patreon's rules I had to think of a twist on some of my usual themes. This lead to Suddenly Daddy. Which in turn lead to my first bisexual/gay scene. I know it isn't for everyone and to be honest it is at the margins of my tastes, but it really felt like a barrier fell when I posted that one. I felt like a painter that suddenly had a new color to play with. I look forward to doing more stuff in this vein. I'll never have two "manly" men going at it, one of the characters will always be a trap/femboy in these scenes, but it is cool to expand my repertoire.
Building Elizabeth with you guys was fun. A hot thicc well hung futa teacher with a humiliation fetish...nice character. :)
Not to do with the Patreon but last month, thanks to Charlie doing so well on Literotica, I was approached by a small publisher to write for them. I turned the offer down as I would have to write what they wanted me to write and I'd have to sign all my rights away to whatever work I produced for them. But still, that was pretty flattering.
The Challenging Stuff
I am not going to lie, locking myself into promises on Patreon slows me down A LOT more than I thought it would. Previously I had the freedom to just write where my heart was taking me. As you guys know that generally meant a hell of a lot of content when I was really feeling it. Now I find myself having to specifically set time aside for Story of the Month, etc whether I am feeling it or not. These chapters take way longer to write.
Also the limits of what I can post here is kind of a bummer as well. I'm looking forward to when all the chapters of Suddenly Daddy are posted to Chyoa and my shackles come off for that story.
Finally, to be blunt, the paywall/early access thing still bugs me. I love putting my stuff out there for everyone to see. I enjoy the equal community feedback and the lack of barriers. Of course this attitude is directly at odds with me wanting to achieve my goals here. I really want to eventually get to those art goals at the very least. From what I can tell paywalls are necessary to actually being successful on Patreon, but man I wish that wasn't the case.
Feedback
1. If there was no exclusive content here would you continue to support me? I.e. If I switched back to focusing on the free sites.
2. Does anyone actually care about the Aphronus stuff? I am dabbling with it in the background, but it is a time sink.
3. Are you enjoying School Life? It's kind of a weird one and I can't tell if you guys are digging it or not.
If there's anything else you don't want to leave in the comments feel free to contact me via message either here or on Chyoa.
Thank you and I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend.

I would support you regardless, you ARE one of my favorite writers after all. As for the Aphronus stuff, Im still waiting patiently for that to come back up again. And Id LOVE to help you create that world and make it a slam dunk. School Life is also an iffy for me. You know me Grim, I love me some humiliation/degradation stuff but this is a whole new level. Like Goddess Cuck Fiona is Saint Maria compared to Davenport. Its a weird thing for me to judge. Regardless, do what you are comfortable with, will be there for you :)
