Serial - Suddenly Daddy Part 48
🕑 Added 2018-07-20 22:04:50 +0000 UTC When the embrace finally relaxes you kiss her soft wet cheek.“We'll figure this out baby girl.”
She lets out a long breath of relief. It had to feel good on some level to get all of this out of her system. She sniffles. You reach up and wipe the tears from her eyes.
“Where the hell did Mom find you? I didn't think men like you even existed.” She laughs lightly.
You laugh with her. “I was just shootin pool in a pub and in she walked. Ended up being the best day of my life.”
“Fuck. You are such a freak, wanting to be with this crazy family.” She teases.
“So be it.” You shrug. For these guys, you'd be a freak.
It might not be the perfect time but you just had to add. “Okay, first order of business as real Daddy...I would really like you to start being nice to your brother.”
She giggles. “I know, I know. I've already decided I would stop teasing him. Back in the truck.” She then gives you a big wet smooch to the lips. “He's really gotten his hooks into you, huh?”
“God, you have no idea!” You chuckle. “He does this thing, when he's looking at me...whoooo! Little bugger had me before I even knew what was happening.”
“Ha ha ha! He's a cutie. Well...I'm glad. Going to be fucking weird for you, being with both him and Mom. I hope you guys are happy. I meant what I said before though, don't you dare hurt him.” She then pats your shoulder. “Hey. Don't think this stuff gets you out of fucking me. I still want me some big Daddy too!”
Your laughter only escalates. “Jesus Christ! This family!”
“Gotta love us.”
“Yeah...yeah I do.”
You then get serious. “Hey, um, about what you said. About your period being late...you...you should really stop drinking and stuff until you know for sure.”
She rests her head on your chest. “I know. Fuck...fuck Daddy, I hope it isn't.”
You clear your throat uncomfortably. “Ahem...there are...options of course.”
She sighs. “I know. It's still early days, I'm hoping I'm just late. But...there's a real possibility.”
You hug her. “You have to tell your mother.”
You feel her head nod. “I know. But...not tonight.”
“Okay. But soon, yeah?”
“Soon.” She agrees.
“The drugs?” You ask. “Were you drugged? Did someone slip something to you?”
“No. I fucking took it, like an idiot. Dad...I swear, I don't know what the fuck I was thinking. I can handle my booze...but this shit? It was bad.” You feel as her fingers run along your neck and then stop to play with the short hairs at the back of your head. “There was this cute girl, and she was doing it...then somehow I ended up with a guy...It was all fucked up.” She shakes her head. “That night, when I told you men were pigs. I confronted the guy, he denied everything of course.
“Want me to talk to him?” You say in a most fatherly way.
She laughs. “And what, beat him up? Ha ha ha! No! You can't beat up all my problems Daddy. To be fair, I think he was pretty messed up too. I'm honestly not sure if he even remembers it.” She hums and shakes her head again. “Don't worry, I'm not messing around with that shit ever again. That was too much.”
You were glad to hear it. You take a deep breath...and smell the delicious aroma of...bacon?
“You smell that?”
Poppy says happily. “Those two are cooking. God, it smells awesome!”
“Hey, why don't we go give them a hand?”
She kisses you. Holding your head in her hands she rests her forehead on yours. “Thank you. For everything.”
“Hey, that's what Daddy's do, right?”
She sighs once more, her tension easing by the moment.
You then quip. “No seriously, I'm asking. I'm new to this Dad stuff. I have no fucking idea what I'm doing here.”
Poppy bursts out laughing. “Ha ha ha! You're doing just fine Daddy. Come on, let's join the others.”
The pair of you get up and head back out to the main room.
