A Love So Deep: Chapter 13

“Or intimidated her.” Draevys adds. “Or disgusted her. Perhaps she simply does not share your fetish for the exotic.”
“It is not a fetish to appreciate beauty in all of its many forms.” Stheera replies. Stheera thought I was beautiful?
I didn’t know how to respond. My simple gesture vocabulary was a paltry set of tools for something like this to say nothing of the fact I didn’t have a clue how I actually felt about the come on. I mean…I was certainly flattered. To say that I wasn’t accustomed to such bold and forthright interest would be an understatement. But…she wasn’t even human. Sure she had human looking parts from the waist up, but below the waist I didn’t have a clue. Beyond that, I had just gotten here to this bewildering environment and she was one my jailers. And finally, I didn’t even know the woman.
She pulls away from me and says. “Think about it.” With that she snakes through the water to take her place on the near side of the half circular sofa.
Zuko and Daera continue to cuddle and smooch, the pair were absolutely smitten with each other. Draevys is reclined with his eyes closed as he contentedly listens to the music and enjoys whatever magical effect he had activated upon his person. The Mistress and Ellerie, in their ‘ballroom dresses’, continue glide through the ‘air’ dancing divinely. In the corner Frob snorts and absently chews on a toy. The whole mood was cozy as everybody had let their guard down in this time set aside for togetherness and relaxation. Nobody was looking at a screen of text or talking about work or excusing themselves to go play a game or surf the net on their own. The group were simply chillin and enjoying each other’s presence.
In such a space it was easy to let my guard down.
With fresh eyes my gaze rests on Stheera who was now facing away from me. The lean and well defined muscles of her back and shoulders looked like had been sculpted from living obsidian. She had the build of an Olympic gymnast, lithe and powerful, with slightly too long yet elegant limbs. Her hairless skin was smooth, even smoother than a human’s, and she hadn’t the scales of the merfolk. I start to wonder what it would feel like to touch. Facially her sharp features were attractive if one could look past the wider mouth and pointed teeth. Her breasts were small, as small as my own, and had a lovely natural yet firm shape to them. All the women here had quite perky breasts, even the buxom Daera, gravity seemingly not as much a factor in this environment. The lack of hair or fins or even ears on her sleek head was odd to my eye yet it fit with the rest of her long streamlined physique. Even her long serpentine tail had an elegance to it that was not entirely displeasing.
Why not? Why not hook up with Stheera tonight? It was really nice to feel wanted, to feel attractive, even if was just for my exotic looks. It seemed casual sex was the norm here, if I was reading things right. Had a woman this attractive approached me on that cruise ship I would have leaped into her bed gladly. And honestly…what in the hell did I have to lose?
Swimming forward I glide up over the back the of the sofa and slowly settle to rest beside Stheera. As she looks at me with those stormy gray eyes I give her a nod. Stheera smiles and sidles closer.
“A kindred spirit it seems.” Draevys says from across from us with one eye cracked open.
She slides an arm around my shoulders and leans into me. “Relax.” She whispers. “Ignore them and listen to the music.”
I do as she suggests. Letting my body relax I gently slump into her and close my eyes.
Stheera’s sinewy arm pulls me in tight. She then lightly pulls my head in to rest on her firm shoulder. Her skin was warm and so deliciously silky smooth, like the skin of a new born baby. There was not slime or weird texture or anything to put me off. But more than that, way more than that, just the simple the feeling of being held again brought out emotions I hadn’t felt in a long time. Oh this was so nice.
“Her head tickles.” Stheera says as I feel her long fingers comb through my hair.
“Isn’t that wonderful?” Ellerie says. “I felt it earlier.”
“Her skin is supple. Her flesh soft and warm.” Stheera’s hand caresses my cheek. “She has a heart and a mind, two arms and five fingers to a hand.” She cups my chin and feels my jaw with her fingers and thumb. “She is not so strange.” A kiss brushes my temple. “In fact, she is beautiful.”
I was glad they wouldn’t be able to see my tears in the water. I didn’t want to ruin this moment.
My eyes closed, my cheek resting on Stheera’s shoulder, I sit quietly and savor the woman’s every tender touch. She feels my ears, gently pinching and tracing around their ridges. She traces a finger across my brow then down my nose and around my lips. She caresses my neck and rubs my shoulder and arm. Her tail lays across my feet to further her embrace. All the while the slowly shifting hums and thrums of the tuneless music reverberates through my body.
I hear Kelrak enter to join us but I am too lost in savoring these feelings to even open my eyes.
“Kelrak.” Stheera whispers. “I know it is your relaxation time but if you could take my weapons to my room…”
“I’ll do it.” Ellerie offers. “You take it easy Kelrak.”
“Thank you darlin.” Stheera croons, the tone of her voice telling me she was enjoying this as much as I was.
I feel a swoosh as Ellerie darts up and there is some motion as Stheera hands over the weapons she wore but soon enough I am feasting on Stheera’s soft, patient stroking and touching.
“Mmmm.” Across the sofa comes a groan from Draevys. Cracking my eyes I see Kelrak had settled down at the old man’s tail and had begun massaging it. Even in relaxation Kelrak looked happiest when serving another. To our right Zuko and Daera continued to make out. They were facing each other now, nose to nose, and smooching like only true lovers could. Zuko did nothing to hide the sizable erection that stuck up between them. Not wanting to be rude I don’t ogle it.
“Good night everyone.” Daera says as she motions her partner it was time to go. “I love you.”
Around the room each of them echoes back to them. “I love you.”
Zuko and Daera drift up, still holding each other close. They might not be human but I knew that body language well enough, those two would be making love in no time. They pause before taking their leave. Zuko peers down. “Stheera…we love you. Come back, okay?”
“I love you too.” Stheera says. “You think I’ll leave just as I’m about to become an aunt? Have faith in me.”
“If anybody can do it, it’s you.” He says, then his black eyes flit my way with a smirk. “And hey…have fun tonight.”
She laughs, it is a funny thing hearing a laugh only in your mind. “You know I will.” From her finger tips comes tiny sparks of electricity that dance on my arm for just a flash.
“Hah!” I gasp as the jolt is just enough to make goosebumps rise and the skin tingle.
The couple smile but say nothing as they go. They disappear back through the door, Frob hurries to wobble in along behind them.
Stheera nuzzles my cheek. “You may touch me too, if you wish.”
I look up at her not quite human face. Reaching up I run the pads of my fingers across the flat of her onyx forehead. With both hands I stroke down her willowy neck, over her shoulders, and then down her sculpted arms. In her vest her ebon arms are bare, beneath my palms I feel the raised lines of scars here and there though they were nearly impossible to see. It was a reminder that despite her soft touch and silky skin, this was a warrior.
“Mmm, not so bad. Yes?” She asks as she bring my hand up to nuzzle and lick my palm. Her tongue had the most fascinating texture.
I nod yes.
From the door Ellerie peeks a head in. “Mistress, I’m horny. Can you take me to bed now?”
The Mistress grins. “Of course my dear.” She looks down to Stheera and I. “Come and see me before you go Stheera.”
“Yes Mistress.” Stheera says without looking away from me. We were now feeling each other’s face, exploring the new textures and contours of the other.
With a mighty push the Mistress thrusts herself through the water to join her young lover.
“Will you have sex with me tonight?” Stheera asks.
Without hesitation I nod. She kisses me. Such a familiar, human like kiss.
“Hold to me.” She says as she pulls me in chest to chest, our small breasts mushing together. I wrap my arms around her and hold her body tightly. When she feels my erection press into her she grins a flirty grin and kisses my cheek. “Good night Draevys, good night Kelrak. I love you both.”
Kelrak bows deeply. “Sleep well. Wake me if you need anything.”
“I love you Stheera.” Draevys says, guarded emotion peeking through the calm facade. “I expect to see you again.”
“Have faith.”
With that Stheera wraps her strong arms around me as her body tenses and her long sinuous tail begins to undulate propelling us through the water and toward the door. I hold on tight, nuzzling my face into her neck as she swims effortlessly back toward the rooms. I had picked up that I might very well be this dark dangerous woman’s last lover and I was determined to give her a night to remember.

I know you've said that this may be short lived as a less popular serial but I have to say the world building has been fantastic, and I'm super interested to see where this goes, sexual or not.
