Werewoman: Part 2
🕑 Added 2022-05-27 15:54:10 +0000 UTCA few days later and I am sitting in my doctor’s office getting the good news that all of the tests had come back negative. Doc says we’ll try again in a few weeks but that as far as he could tell there was nothing wrong with me. In fact he says that I’d never been in better health. Whatever Candace’s over the top reaction had been about it didn’t seem to be related to passing on some disease, thank God! Except for the fact that I’d been having some incredibly intense and erotic dreams since that night with Candace, which I simply chalk up to such an unexpected whirlwind of an encounter with probably the hottest babe I’d ever have the luck to get with, nothing else seemed amiss.
I do what I can to track down the mysterious Candace to at least ask her why she left so suddenly but I quickly hit a brick wall. I couldn’t find a damn thing, even her profile on the hookup app had disappeared off the face of the internet. She was complaining about my dick size and performance but surely that wasn’t why she left like that. No, it was definitely something to do with her cut lip and mine. Some religious taboo about mixing blood perhaps? Who knows. In the end I just chalk it up to the woman being unhinged, her wild and aggressive personality likely an offshoot of that. They say that you never stick your dick in crazy but when I think back on those intense ten minutes we’d spent together…I would do it again in a heartbeat!
That night I am shooting pool with the boys and regaling them with a detailed yet greatly exaggerated version of my night with the wild woman Candace. Their faces are dubious as I describe how drop dead gorgeous she was though their interest is piqued when I tell them about how she wanted to skip the romance and head straight to the sack.
“Dream woman.” Quips Earnest to a round of bawdy chuckles.
I carry on, sparing only the most personal details of the raucous romp and even adding a few of my own to draw the tale out. The bit near in the middle has them howling.
“She actually said that!?” Danny guffaws.
“Yeah man.” I laugh. “You BETTER not be about to cum! Her words exactly. And she meant it! Crazy bitch wouldn’t stop riding though. I was just hanging on for dear life!” I swig some beer to let the laughter run its course. “I’m getting mine one way or another she said.” This starts a new round of tipsy giggles.
“God damn!” Harry says excitedly, perhaps too excitedly. It was no secret that there was nothing he liked more than a powerful woman. “There’s a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to get it. Whooo! You say she’s not on the app anymore?”
“Disappeared into the night.” I nudge him with an elbow. “Sorry Simp.”
He grins, his mahogany colored cheeks darkening just a shade like it did whenever he blushed, which was often. It was only because I knew him so well that I that could even make it out.
“She dissed your dick?” Ernest cringes and shakes his head in disgust even as he laughs. “That ain’t cool. You don’t diss a man’s member. I wouldn’t have stood for that shit. Woulda tossed her out on her ass.” Ernest talked a big game but I knew the braggart wouldn’t have done anything different than me, he got even less pussy than I did!
“Yeah right!” I step up to the table and chalk my cue’s tip. As a sink a few balls I carry on to the sudden and confusing finale of the encounter.
“After all that she didn’t even let you nut?” Danny says.
“And she didn’t get hers either, left us both hanging.”
“It was the split lips.” My best friend William says, a bit of concern creeping into his sober voice. “Freaked her out.”
“I think so.” I agree. “Maybe she’s weirded out by the sight of blood, I don’t know.”
“It’s weird alright. You might want to get tested my guy.”
“Already done, clean bill of health.” I say. “And I wore protection.”
This story quickly segues into one of Danny’s latest conquest. As the best looking and most fearless of us Danny always had the best stories. The night carries on like usual when we got together, talk of women and sports and life in general as the pitchers of beer flow freely. Something was off tonight though. I felt faint and drawn out, my restless dream-filled nights seemed to be catching up with me. I try to soldier on but eventually I am forced to throw in the towel.
“I’m calling it there.” I say as William sinks the eight. I hang the cue up. “Same time next week?”
“You’re leaving?” Ernest scoffs. “Already?”
“Dude, it’s not even midnight.” Danny teases. “You’re getting to be a lightweight Alex. First you tell us that you can’t satisfy a woman and now…”
“Fuck you!” I laugh and snap a sharp jab into his shoulder. As he laughs and rubs his sore shoulder I say. “I’m just feeling wiped. It’s been a long week.”
William, the natural worrier of our group, takes a close look at me. “You do look a bit pale. You okay?”
“Just tired. I’m okay.” I assure him then finish my mug. “I’ll settle up my portion on the way out.”
“We’ll be here until close if you change your mind.” Harry says, before muttering under his breath. “Pussy.”
Normally I would have bantered with him but tonight I let the good natured jibe slide. I just wanted to get home as I was feeling worse by the second.
William pats my shoulder. “You okay to get home bud?”
He was the DD tonight so the question wasn’t out of the ordinary, but I knew he was genuinely concerned about me too. The big guy was such a sweetheart. “It’s just a few blocks. I’m good.” I tell him.
“I’ll be here if you need anything.” He says. “Take care of yourself brother.”
“Thanks man.” We bro hug and I am off.
Under a bright full moon hovering high in the summer sky I walk the four city blocks back to my condo. The streets are busy with the bar crowd, people coming and going from the various pubs and dance clubs in the area, but I ignore it all and keep focused on just keeping one foot stepping in front of the other. My head was swimming with vertigo, everything around me shimmered like through a heat haze in the desert, and my body burning up. Had the pandemic finally reached me? I’d been lucky thus far, perhaps my luck had finally run out. I look up at the brilliant moon above. It was the one thing not wavering in my vision. It gave me something solid to concentrate on, an anchor to cling to. Even through the lights of the city I can make out in sharp detail the lunar craters and flat expanses over the wan surface. Wow…was it always this beautiful?
Back in my apartment I quickly take a rapid test. If it came back positive I’d call William and let the boys know. Struggling with a shaky hand I put the drops into the reservoir. The instructions said to wait fifteen minutes. I look at the clock on the wall. Ten minutes to midnight. I could check it at five past.
I was so hot! Opening my shirt I open the nearest window and stand with my arms wide to catch the night breeze. It doesn’t help. Despite feeling like I was on fire not a drop of sweat had perspired which gave nothing for the breeze to wick away and cool. I quickly go back and check the results. Only one line thus far but it had barely been two minutes. “Hah!” I let out an audible gasp as my body rapidly swings from burning hot to freezing cold! Gooseflesh rises as the hairs on my body stand on end. “Jesus! What is happening?” Next comes a tingling itch that spreads out from my chest to encompass my whole body. Not only was my flesh itchy, it was incredibly sensitive. My clothes suddenly felt like they were lined with nettles. And then my body flashes hot once more.
Leaving the test on the kitchen counter to do its thing I head for the washroom peeling clothes off as I go. Inside I look at myself in the mirror. There was an intensity in my dull green eyes but the pupils were neither dilated nor constricted. I don’t think I’d been drugged or anything. I run a hand over my stubbly cheek and through my short black hair. Nothing looked off that I could see. Peering down at my body I see nothing out of the ordinary. Just then heat swings to icy chills once more and a great full body shiver seizes me.
“Geeeez!”
Slamming the door closed I turn on the shower, as hot as I could handle it, and jump in to find some measure of relief. The hot water washes over me tamping down not only the chills but the itchy tingles that continued to dance over my flesh. The warm steam felt good in my lungs. Placing my hands on the wall I lower my head beneath the hissing streams and just let the water wash over me and concentrate on breathing. If this didn’t get better soon maybe I would call William to drive me to a hospital. I’d wait until I got the results of test though. Whatever this was it could wait another ten minutes.
