A Simple Life: Chapter 164
🕑 Added 2024-08-18 17:58:54 +0000 UTCWinona wasn’t kidding about just getting started. She doesn’t just buy me the four dresses but an entire wardrobe! Two skirts, three blouses, a crop top, leggings, stockings, booty shorts, two pairs of shoes, a pair of boots along with some vaguely fantasy looking slippers and a sea green shawl for my cosplay was just the beginning. Next came the jewelry where we fill a small jewelry box with necklaces, a choker, some clip on earrings, bracelets and some super pretty hair clips. From there she takes me to the men’s section where she gets me some jeans, a vest, a shirt and the cutest bow pink bow tie.
I was definitely attracting some strange looks, particularly by the staff and Gary, but inside of my protective bubble I was untouchable. I had such a good time. It was so cool to have the whole store to shop in. By embracing both parts of myself I almost felt like I’d unlocked a kind of shopping cheat code on life. A cheat code that Winona dabbled with herself as she was shopping on both sides of the store as well. Had this not been the thrift store it all would have cost a fortune! As it was she would still be dropping a pretty penny on us.
Kayla too was having a blast. She gets her ‘Horny Fucker’ outfit sorted pretty quick with a men’s crimson collared shirt, a pair of ultra tight faux leather pants, heeled boots, and a set of devil horns she dug out of the Halloween section. When she stepped out of the changing room she was as sexy as I’d ever seen her. And that was saying something for her. With her shirt only half buttoned up she showed plenty of cleavage and those tight pants showed off her shapely bottom half beautifully. The cherry on top though, and the thing that got the rest of us roaring with laughter, was how she stuffed her crotch was a plush lobster she’d gotten from the toys. The way she balled up its claws made them look like balls and the long tail with the flared end looked just like a flaccid cock that even Winona would be humbled by.
With a bright-eyed Briar at her side Kayla was only getting warmed up. The eclectic mix of styles and retro fashions made the shop like a quest for buried treasure for her. She kept going on about how ‘every item has a story’ and would make up these ever more intricate and fantastical stories about the previous owners. She was a woman in her element.
Of all of us Briar had the most peculiar assortment of items. When we cross paths I peer into her cart to see two leather belts, one spiked and one studded, a stained and worn out old canvas backpack, a fuzzy leopard print throw pillow, a long white scarf, a dog collar with chain, a cat collar, a big scruffy teddy bear with long ratty fur, a leather attache case, and a leather welder’s apron with a massive darkened burn mark across the chest.
“What’s all th-this?” I ask her as Winona wanders over to see what Kayla was looking at.
“My costume.” She smiles, before fretting. “Or it will be if I’ve got the time to put it together.”
“What’s the t-teddy bear…?” I start to ask. “Actually, I’d rather b-be surprised.” Shifting closer together our hands naturally come together. I ask quietly. “How’s it going with K-Kayla?”
Briar grins and glances toward our mutual friend just for a second. “Really good. She’s already starting to call me Little Mistress.” She titters. “She asks me ‘would Little Mistress like this?’ and stuff like that.” Her smile widens. “And she keeps looking at me in this way that…ohhhh. She’s so beautiful!”
I smile. “She’s trying to encourage you. She’s r-really good at that. Wh-when I was w-with m-my first girl I was really ashamed of, well, everything. K-Kayla was the first person that m-made me feel s-sexy and m-made me feel good about s-sex. W-Without K-Kayla there would have b-been no Eddie or W-Winona. She’s a really g-good teacher too.”
“I want her to teach me.”
“She wants you B-Briar.” I say, squeezing her hand. “Sh-She’ll probably sleep with you as soon as you let her. But y-you have to be ready. It’s all in y-your control. You have to b-be sure if it’s what you want or not.”
She takes a long breath. “I think I do want her to be my first. Even if she can’t be mine forever.”
“Remember what she said. One step at a t-time.”
“Yeah.” She sighs. “But…what if I’m no good at sex, Avery? What if I’m a terrible lover? What if I’m not as good as all the others? What if I disappoint her?”
“She knows that you’re a v-virgin, Briar.” I say. “She won’t judge you like that. Don’t try and c-compare yourself to anyone. Just b-be yourself.”
“Mm.”
“For wh-what it’s worth I think that y-you’ll be a r-really good lover and the b-best Little Mistress ever.”
This brings the smile back to her face. “Thank you, Avery.”
“N-Need a hug?”
“Yes please.”
We come together for a nice, warm, friendly hug.
“Avery!” Our embrace is interrupted by a gripe from Kayla. “Get over here and talk some sense into your girlfriend.” Briar and I hurry over to find out what was happening. Pointing at Winona she says. “She says she’s not going to wear a costume tomorrow!”
“What?” I look up at my beloved.
Winona rolls her eyes. “I don’t have a character. I’m the Fable Master.”
“That doesn’t mean you can’t have fun like the rest of us.” Briar says.
“Y-Yeah! You love cosplay. We w-were going to g-go to that convention, remember?” I say. “Ooo! Do Lady Ara!”
“You see any sets of full plate armor on these racks?”
“Well, no.” I say. “B-But you gotta do something.”
“Exactly.” Kayla nods.
“Please Winona.” Briar says. “It wouldn’t be the same without you joining in.”
Outnumbered and wanting to a part of it regardless of what she said Winona puts up her hands. “Fine! I’ll do something.”
“Yay!” The rest of us cheer.
“Not Ara.” She says as she looks back and forth over the racks that surrounded us on all sides. “But who? Or what?”
“You could go with a classic.” Briar suggests. “Some robed goddess or mystic or something. Maybe with a cool gray streak in your hair to make you look wise.”
“She’d look like Tulsi.” Quips Kayla. “Remember when you wore that men’s suit on our second date? She looked so fine. You’d look so damn hot rocking a tux or something close. Something suave and classy. Like you’re the master of ceremonies.”
“Wh-What about Urbosa?” I chime in. “You c-could at least start to put that outfit t-together before the convention.”
“Urbosa?” Kayla asks.
“She’s a character from a video game.”
“I know who she is. But you’re going to dress as her!?” She starts to fan herself. “Oh Lord give me strength.”
I giggle. “And I’m g-gonna go as Link.”
“You’re going to be Link!? Oh my fucking God.” Turning away Kayla takes a few steps then slumps to the side, hanging onto the nearest stand to hold her up. “I just need a moment.”
The rest of us chuckle.
“If you need a Midna to tag along lemme know.” Giggles Briar. “I love cons.”
“Hmm.” Winona ponders a moment as Kayla collects herself. “I suppose Touka is an option. He is a part of the group after all. Not sure how I’d do it.”
“I’ve got some ideas.” Offers Briar.
“You as a r-raven?” I say. “Ooo, that’d be cool too.”
“Hmmm.” She slowly scans the store. “Let’s see what we can find.”
