Queen for a Day: Part 8
🕑 Added 2025-01-08 21:22:34 +0000 UTCSitting back in her chair Sarah stares at me for few seconds as she reads my face. “What do you mean another option?”
“I mean…” I sigh. “What you said all sounds like fun. Fun and games. And it’s amazing. Only you could come up with something like that.”
“But?”
“But…for this I, um, I’d like to do it my way.”
“Okay.” She says, her tone cautious. “What is your way?”
“I dunno, just…normal. The normal way.”
“Normal?”
“I mean! Uh, just like…going out, dinner, drinks, maybe a movie or something.”
Again she pauses, her blue eyes searching mine. “Like a date?”
“Kind of.” I confess. “I want to be able to…ease into it, ya know? I want to get in the mood. Real casual. Real natural. I want to know if I’ve still got it.”
“You want to go on a date with another woman?”
“Not a real date. A one night stand. Wham, bam, and thank you Ma’am.”
“Okay. Who…who would you like to go out with? Is it Maria? I could ask her…”
“No.” I shake my head. “None of the girls. I’m going to do this myself.”
“Oh!”
Taking her hand I give it a squeeze. “You did November on your own. I want to do this.” Echoing her point from earlier I add. “It’s only fair.”
“Okayyyy.” She lets out a huff. “Scary.”
“If you don’t want me to do this…”
“No!” She insists. “No, no, no. I’m just…thinking.” After a short pause she says. “I did go out with Richard I suppose. And I did a LOT more than that.”
“You did.” The jealous half of my heart winces at the memory as my cuckold libido glows hotter. “I want something like what you and Richard did. No games. No plastic crowns. No roleplaying. I do want to do that stuff too just not this time. This time I want a regular old date and a one night stand, if things even get that far. I want that risk of failure though. I just want it…normal. Left to my own devices, I’ll probably strike out! Ha! Probably end up embarrassing myself.”
“Stop that.” She gives my hand a shake. “You are a very desirable man, David.”
With a kiss to her hand I say. “You married me. You have to say that.”
This brings out a grin. “Well it’s true. I won the hubby lottery with you.” Before I could say something humble she cuts to the basics. “When? How? Who?”
“When, I don’t know. Maybe by this weekend but that’s awful fast.” I say. “I’m kinda out of practice with the ladies.”
“Gee, thanks.”
“You know what I mean.” I kiss the back of her hand. “You’re not one of the ladies, you are THE lady. But it’s true I’m super rusty at the whole pickup artist games. And I was hardly an all-star when I was in it.”
She giggles. “Well you swept me off my feet.”
“If we do this we’ll have to be flexible. Might not happen this month. How? Just like I said. A pleasant evening and one night of passion.” As I say ‘passion’ her grip tightens around mine. “I’ll be upfront with what I’m after. Sex. I don’t want any lies or bullshit. Eyes wide open.” I take a deep breath. “As for who…well…I guess we’ll see who I can get.”
“Okay.” She says softly. “Okay, well…”
“Wait.” I say, my guilt not allowing to remain quiet any longer. “Wait. Actually I do kind of, sort of, have someone in mind.”
“You do?”
“Sorry. I, uh, I should have said so. I don’t know why I, um…” My voice trails off.
“David?” Sarah whispers, her blue eyes widening. “Is there…somebody else?”
“No! Not like that. Of course not. Sarah!”
She lets out a relieved sigh. “Sorry.”
“I doubt she’d even be interested. I barely know her, really.”
“She? Her?”
“I mean, as far as I know she’s single. No messy attachments or anything. And I know she’s got weekends off.” I could feel my cheeks warm with a blush. Despite what we’d been talking about, it was only now the blush came out. “It’s probably a bad idea. I mean I just met her again the other day. She’ll think I’m a freak.”
“Oh?”
“Maybe not though. I get the sense she can be a bit naughty herself. She’s lived a life. Been through some shit too. We seem to get along and everything but…”
“Who are you getting along with?”
“Huh?”
“Who? Who are you talking about, David?”
“Oh, right. It’s just an old acquaintance from school. Do you ever remember me talking about a guy named Sammy?”
“Of course. You and Bradley used to talk about him a lot. He was one of your best friends.”
“Was, being the key word there. Anyway, he had a sister. I really didn’t know her all that well but she was always around. I bumped into her the other day. She’s working as a waitress at a truck stop.”
“A truck stop waitress?” She says, seeming to take some kind of solace in that for some reason. “And does this waitress have a name?”
“Her name is Annie. Or, I guess I should call her Ann now.” I chuckle. “We used to call her Little Annie back in the day. Others called her Ugly Annie. She was all scrawny and pimply and clutzy and nerdy with these thick glasses and a snorty laugh. Everybody used to tease her something awful, especially the pretty girls.”
“That’s not very nice.”
“It wasn’t. But I never teased her.”
“Of course you wouldn’t.”
“We were always cool. I actually kinda looked out for her.”
“Looking out for the less popular kids. That is so you. It’s one of the reasons I love you so much.” She smiles. “Okay. A scrawny truck stop waitress, huh?”
“Um…”
“Not what I was expecting but…I guess I really don’t know what I was expecting.” She say. “I wasn’t expecting any of this!”
“Yeah, well, when you threw Jennifer into the mix I guess it got me thinking outside the box.”
“Annie. Ann. Ann the waitress.” She says to herself, weighing up the different names as if she might glean something from them. “Ugly Annie. Little Annie.”
“She’s not so little anymore.”
“Oh?” She giggles and swats my hand. “David. I’m surprised at you. Maria’s hardly a runway model and she’s still as sexy as can be.”
“That’s not what I…”
“I still want to be here.”
“What?”
“No contest. No ceremony. No crown. None of that stuff.” Gathering her gumption Sarah sits taller. “I agree to your conditions. I want this to happen. But I still want to be here. I’ll hide if I have to.”
“Hide?”
“I want to be here!” She insists. “In fact…I want to be there. For all of it. The date, the movie, all of it. Not with you and her, but there. Watching you be your big, hot, sexy self. Does she know what I look like?”
“Well, no.”
“Good. Then I can watch from another table at the restaurant. Or at the bar. I can go to the same movie. We could even do the texting idea I had if you want when she’s not looking. Then I can cut out early to come home before you. I want to be involved every step of the way. In case I need to cut it short or…whatever. I wanna see.” She leans, resting her head on my shoulder as her fingers play across my chest. “I want to see you with your truck stop Queen.”

As I stand watching my wife pull away to go to work I am, for the thousandth time since November, incredulous at what had just happened and what might happen going forward. Calm and cool we had just negotiated me sleeping with another woman right here in our happy home. Crazy! I couldn’t believe I’d just dropped Annie’s name in there like that. It wasn’t even planned, it just sorta…happened. There must have been something in those twinkling dark eyes that stayed with me.
I close the door and stand there a moment letting it sink in. With a shake of my head I laugh, a deep and hearty laugh. If I actually went through with this Ann was going to think me either mad or a disloyal cheating husband, probably both! She’d be right about the former but dead wrong on the latter. I might have sex with another woman but I would NEVER cheat on my beloved Sarah. I couldn’t even introduce Ann to my spouse to convince her it was on the up and up as Sarah wanted to be able to blend into the background. At least for the first part of ‘date night’. Normal I had called it. Normal! This was anything but that. But who the hell wanted to be normal anyway?
Sarah and I had talked about it until the moment we kissed goodbye and I could tell that she while she still harbored some reservations she was warming more to the idea with each passing minute. She was even getting excited by it! We agree that even if it didn’t work out with Ann we would try again probably at a singles bar or something similar. It was so cute how Sarah tried to give me pick-up lines and dating pointers to help me out. If that plan ended up a dead end I gave her my word that we could then try ‘Queen for a Day’ her way instead of mine. That understood, we also agreed that there would be no rush on this as this might take me awhile. We even talked about maybe doing a different adventure this month or skipping March altogether to give me time to gauge Ann’s interest and build up to the moment I asked her out. I wasn’t going to force this and if I sensed she was at all uncomfortable or that ‘benefits’ might ruin what was shaping up into a nice friendship I’d pull the chord right away.
Climbing the stairs still chuckling at the situation I then make my way to my computer. After the aborted frisky times, the close cuddling, and all this talk of sex I was in need of relieving some tension. Almost on autopilot I prepare some of favorite fap material and settle in. As I scan the titles along the tabs and read cuckold this and hotwife that I pause. These would certainly get the job done fast. They always did.
I don’t know why but it is only right then that it really sinks in that I would soon be making love to a woman other than Sarah. My dear, beautiful Sarah knew me inside and out. She knew my deepest fetish. She knew my buttons. She knew my limitations and my every strength and weakness. And she loved me with her whole heart because of and in spite of it all.
Ann did not know me so intimately. Nor would she ever. With Ann, lithe and sexy Ann, it would just be about the sex. I would have only one chance to leave a first and lasting impression. One chance to show her my worth. Years of marriage had honed my bedroom performance, I was undoubtedly a better lover now than I’d been in my youth, but there were surely some well-worn ruts that Sarah and I were blind to. And, to be blunt, Sarah was not a difficult partner to please. I’d never met a woman whose body responded so readily or who came so easily. Though I’d had lots of practice in our marital bed I’d been playing on easy mode for a very long time now. Ann was a complete unknown. If I was going to be with Ann I wanted to leave an impression. In short, I needed to up my game. Energized by a whole different challenge I close out the pages.
A few short minutes later I have an entirely different row of tabs waiting for me. Scanning across I read them: ‘Endurance Test, Stage 1’, ‘Improve Your Sexual Stamina and Performance’, ‘Making the Most of What You Got’ and ‘Giving Your Woman Her Best Orgasms Ever’.

Nah nah, this was super enjoyable! I’m loving this series so far. I’ve always been a fan of slow and steady, but that’s just me. I can’t wait for David to up his game. Soon, his wife is going to be shocked, and I’m here for it

Apologies for the wordiness. I'm just following where the characters are leading but I am cognizant of how long this is taking. I'll try to tighten things up as best I can.
