A Simple Life: Chapter 188
🕑 Added 2024-12-09 21:54:03 +0000 UTCHot was not the word I’d been prepared for. “W-What?”
“Ha!” He chortles. “Who woulda guessed it, huh? My roomie’s a hot babe in disguise.” Looking me up and down in a way that made my skin crawl he marvels. “Daaamn, bro. If I didn’t know better I’d…” His voice cuts off as he senses a looming presence behind him. He slowly turns his head to see Winona not two feet away staring laser beams into his skull. “AH!”
“If you didn’t know better?” Winona growls. “Go on. What were you going to say?”
Shook, though trying to pretend he wasn’t, my roomie turns and shrinks back a step. Stepping back only causes Winona to step with him to corner him against the wall. “I w-was just saying he looked good!”
“You’re damn right you were.” She says, staring him down long enough to make her point. “Be nice.”
“Bray!” Onyx calls from the living room. “Quit being an asshole.”
“But! But!” He looks around at us. “I was being nice!”
“Good! Let’s keep it that way.” Winona gives his shoulder a stiff smack and continues back toward Onyx.
When he thinks Winona is out of earshot he mutters. “Your girlfriend’s a psycho.”
“And don’t you forget it.” She replies, her ears sharper than he gave her credit for.
“Erp!”
I giggle as he looks to me to throw him a lifeline. “I know wh-what you were trying to say.” I tell him and pat his other shoulder. “Th-Thank you, Brayden.”
Together we follow Winona into the living room where Onyx sat on the sofa with her tablet propped on her lap. I knew it was hers as the back of it was plastered with a dozen or more overlapping stickers of bands I’d never heard of, each one of them as dark and gloomy looking as her.
“Check it out.” Brayden says with a grin. “She’s pretty good.”
“Pretty good?” She looks up with those creepy white eyes.
“Fucking good!” He corrects himself.
She shakes her head with a smirk, the closest I’d seen her to a grin. Despite being at odds with her wild costume the near smile was a nice one.
“Damn!” Winona exclaims as she sits down beside Onyx, her eyes focused on the screen. “You did this?”
“Yep.” Onyx says proudly. “These are my babies.”
As I approach I notice that thanks to Winona’s Urbosa skirt, which was much shorter than what she usually wore, and the slight spread of her legs I could quite clearly see the prodigious bulge in the shorts she wore under it. Brayden hadn’t seen it yet but it was right there to be seen! Hurrying forward I sit down beside her and press my leg into her, forcing her knees together, then lean across her to look at the art. I had to confess, it was pretty darn cool! They were just like the costumes but with more exaggerated features.
“Two different styles?” Winona asks, pointing out that on Father Caleb’s side of the screen everything was bright, clean and in full color but as you looked to the right the panel where Sister Grace stood it became a harsh black and white and the lines ragged and rough.
“Yeah.” She says. “It represents who they are and how they see the world. Grace is back from the dead to help her brother in their mission to fight evil.”
“The Father is also her brother.” Brayden laughs.
“STEP-brother, technically.” Onyx corrects. “For reasons. Heh!”
“Oookay! Twisted Sister!” Winona lets out a big laugh, though I didn’t get the joke. “We’ll leave it at that then.”
“Told ya their souls weren’t pure.”
“You gotta give me the address.” Winona says as she watches more art of the duo flip by as Onyx swipes. “This looks awesome!”
“Yeah sure.” She says. “Here, check it out.”
As Winona gets a tour of Onyx’s comic I say. “I’m gonna get things ready.” Leaning in I give her a kiss on the cheek and whisper while I pat her knee. “Mind the gap.”
“Mind the…?” Her eyes widen and flit to Brayden before she mouths the word. ‘Shit!’
I giggle and shoot her a wink then take her Fable Mastering bag and carry it to the table. After clearing the table I lay her bag at the head then get my sheet and dice out and set them up in the same spot as last time. When I step into the kitchen I stop dead. The counters were clean. The sink empty. And when I open the fridge door…there were some groceries!
“Don’t look so surprised.” Brayden says, coming in behind me. “I can clean up once in a while.”
Turning around to face him I ask. “Who are y-you? You can’t be my old roommate.”
With a nod down to my dress he quips. “Look whose talkin!” We share a laugh. Lowering his voice he says. “I tidied up for Onyx. She’s so awesome, dude. I mean…I can’t even…”
I pat his shoulder. “I get it.”
Lowering his voice even further he says. “We’re heading to her place after the game for a little, ahem, role-playing game of our own.”
“Pfft! TMI!”
“Ha! As if you two don’t get kinky.”
My grin and blush was all the answer I was giving. Needing a change of topic I say. “We’re ordering p-pizza or something if you guys want in.”
“Oh, uh…” Brayden shifts uncomfortably.
Knowing what it was about I whisper. “I g-got you covered.”
“No, dude, I um…” He sighs. “I’m kinda light right now. I’m still new at the store and I don’t want Onyx to know…um…I’m broke.”
“It’s cool.” I smile. “You’re p-part of this party too, right? I got it. I’ll say you gave me your portion.”
“Fuck, Avery.” He says. “You’re the fuckin best roomie ever, you know that right?” He looks me in the eyes and says with a solemness I’d never seen in him before. “I’ll pay you back. For the pizza and everything else I owe ya.”
“Sure.” I nod. “I know you’re g-good for it.”
There’s an uncomfortable moment where I wasn’t sure if he was going to hug me when from the living room I can hear Winona excitedly telling Onyx about her own original character. “She’s undead too! Though it’s a secret. Hidden beneath her armor.” Raising her voice she says. “It’s a secret Brayden!”
“Huh?”
“Don’t tell the group.”
“About what?” Genuinely oblivious to what she was talking about looks at me confused.
“Never mind!” She and Onyx get back into sharing OC stores.
Just then the buzzer goes off. I step around and say through the mic. “Hello?”
“Horny Fucker here to fuck things up!” Comes Kayla’s bold voice which causes all of us to laugh.
“Come on up!”
I buzz her in and wait by the door to welcome her in. When I hear her footsteps approach I swing the door wide.
“Eyyyy!” We say as one, our arms out wide to the other as we take each other’s costumes.
Kayla looked AMAZING! The Halloween devil horns she put under her long, silvery wig so the black point jutted up through the hair without the band even being visible. The hair she had back in a ponytail. Anything more complex probably would have looked terrible but a simple ponytail the wig could do. She hadn’t painted her skin red, like Horny’s, but the lovely brown of her natural complexion suited the look just as well Her face she’d masterfully done up in a way to make it look like she hadn’t done it up and the darkening of her upper lip, cheeks and chin made it look just like a couple day’s worth of stubble. It might be weird to say, but she looked GOOD with a five o-clock shadow. She wore a fancy silk pirate short, the sheen of the fabric giving it away as the real thing, which she had the top couple of buttons left loose. Her bust she had flattened with some sort of band that I could just see through the gap in her shirt but it was a near perfect match with her skin tone. The glittering gold amulet she wore also drew attention away from the band so that even a couple steps away it was all but invisible. Like me her transformation was incredible. For anyone who didn’t know her you would have thought that she was an insanely handsome man, if incredibly lithe and twinkish. But the piece de resistance was yet to come. She wore tight black trousers. So tight that the thick eight inch strap-on she wore under it was as plain as day. Leave it to Kayla to stuff her pants with a real sex toy!
“Ha ha ha ha!” I point, busting my gut with laughter.
“Ya like it, baby?” She says in a deep, smooth tone as she strokes the shaft that ran down her inner thigh. “I’m not even hard yet.”
“HA HA HA HA HA!”
We come together in a big hug.
“Oh my God, Althea! You look incredible!” She rubs my arms as she looks me up and down. “Gorgeous.”
“You t-too!” I say
“Kayla!?” Brayden exclaims as he comes around the corner. His eyes bulge when he sees her bulge. “Holy shit!”
“A demon!” Onyx cries. Pulling the fighting sticks from their holster, revealing one was shorter than the other, she forms them into a cross to keep the evil creature at bay.
“Ssssss!” Kayla bares her teeth, which I only now noticed were fanged. “And who is this? A new party member?”
“Another member of the audience.” Chuckles Winona as she comes up beside Onyx. “Hot damn, Kay! Look at you.”
“Not bad, huh?” Kayla steps forward between everyone, arms out in a ‘check me out’ pose as she does a slow spin. “Guy or girl, I look fuckin gooood.”
“I’ll say!” After a deft spin to show she actually knew how to handle them Onyx sheaths the sticks and steps forward to properly introduce herself. “I’m Onyx.”
“Hey.” Kayla says. “Kayla, but tonight I am the Horny Fucker.”
“I can see that.” Onyx glances down at the schlong. “Impressive.
“Isn’t it?” Kayla grins a devilish grin.
“You know how to use that thing?”
“I’ve been told I’m the best.” Kayla says smoothly, her left brow rising. “Why you askin?”
“Just askin.” She says, and the pair of them laugh.
Winona and I flash each other a concerned look as we both knew that laugh. Kinky Kayla had found someone of interest. She’d JUST taken Briar’s virginity last night! She wouldn’t flirt with Onyx so soon afterward…would she? And Brayden was starting to fall for Onyx. She wouldn’t dump him that quick…would she? I had worries!
Brayden looks to Winona/Urbosa, tall and powerful with sexy abs. He looks to Onyx/Sister Grace, all dark and weirdly alluring. He looks to the hung man version of Kayla/Horny Fucker, whom he already lusted after. And finally his eyes settle on me and he stares for a few seconds like he had when I arrived.
Never one to keep his mouth shut, especially when he should, he says in an unpriestly way. “I have the most confused boner right now.”
