i think that kids like watching shitty sketches about high school and homework because they desperately want to be old enough to relate to them. when i was 11 and 12 and 13 all I wanted to be was older and I thought that watching things marketed at teenagers made me seem more mature and give me an idea of what it would actually be like to be that age. i don't know if im explaining well but I think they just want to be in on the joke.
