Awesome to hear Noel is from Toronto. So am I! To answer your question about Brampton: It's a little bit aways from Toronto. Close to the airport but pretty far from downtown. Be forewarned, it's kinda know around here as "Browntown" They may not like hearing that, but a lot of foreigners in that area.

I felt that when you talked about getting into going to the gym & looking forward to going. for me it's always cyclical, I'm going 4-5 times a week in the winter but once the sun comes out you won't catch me working out. It's fucked

Best thing I ever realised about fitness training, is that it's only worth it if you can sustain it long term. The benefits should be progressive, not quick. There's a big misconception that working out is in itself a health lifestyle choice, when in reality it can be damaging. The types of exercise you do, and your dietary habits will have a compounding effect on your body. Young lifters, in their twenties, are being diagnosed with early onset heart disease, from the enormous amount of meat and fatty foods they consume. Gym injuries are rampant from the promotion of misinformation by unknowledgeable fitness influencers. Working out is not longer associated with fitness but rather a way to satisfy social norms and that's scary. You even mentioned it, you were into the gym to look good, but you ended up feeling shit. Thats counter intuitive. I highly suggest you read up about diet (government recommendations, studies, knowledgeable YouTube channels) and reassess your fitness goals. If your body is sending you such negative signals, try something different. Hope you guys both do what's best for you!
